Poor
The room was large and comfortable, albeit dated.
Our stay was extremely disappointing and represented very poor value for money, especially at nearly £300 for one night.
The hotel was overcrowded due to the Commonwealth Games, and it felt as though paying guests were treated as second-class customers. We were refused luggage storage because priority was being given to athletes and event staff, despite travelling with a young baby and a three-year-old. Reception staff were dismissive and unhelpful throughout, leaving us waiting over 30 minutes for assistance before simply telling us they couldn’t help with something as basic as arranging a taxi.
The spa facilities were frankly disgusting. There were renovation works at the entrance, used cups and towels scattered around, dirty and foul-smelling changing rooms, and blocked showers full of hair and debris. The entire area appeared neglected and poorly maintained.
Combined with the poor location, difficult access due to construction, and discourteous customer service, this was one of the worst hotel experiences we’ve had. I would not recommend staying here, particularly during major events when it seems paying guests are no longer the priority.

We had a fantastic short stay at the Hilton Glasgow during our family road trip.
We called ahead to let the hotel know we’d be arriving around 12:30am with our two young children, who would almost certainly be fast asleep. The team couldn’t have been more accommodating. They pre-checked us in, told us we could leave the car in the drop-off area while we got the children settled into bed, and even offered to help with our bags. It made what could have been a stressful arrival incredibly easy.
My wife has coeliac disease, so eating out can often be quite stressful. She called ahead and spoke to the duty manager, who immediately put her at ease by explaining they had a seperate area to prepare the food and take all of the necessary precautions to minimise the risk of cross-contamination. They were also clear that gluten is handled in the kitchen, which we appreciated as it was honest and reassuring.
At breakfast, Lazaros was exceptional. He took the time to make sure my wife was properly looked after, ensured the kitchen staff fully understood her dietary requirements, and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. He even prepared two iced coffees separately. Normally we’d avoid ordering these because of the risk of cross-contamination, but he took such care that we felt completely confident. Most importantly, he never made us feel like our dietary requirements were an inconvenience – something that, unfortunately, people with coeliac disease often experience.
Finally, the room was perfect: spacious, spotless, modern and very comfortable. The swimming pool was an added bonus and was a real hit with the children.
A huge thank you to the whole team for making our stay so easy and enjoyable. We’d happily stay here again.

Lovely hotel. Room was huge and breakfast was delicious. Service excellent.
Location, a little on the outskirts and it was also extortionately priced due to an event. I got it at a slightly cheaper rate due to timing of booking but it was still expensive. Had I left it a few days it was £350+ for one night. All hotels in the area were very expensive though - more expensive than London!

Pleasant
The beds and cleaness.
The location is not attractive at all
You cannot walk out cause it's on a Highway. We couldn't use the pool because I have 3 kids and it's only two per adult.
