Good Location for OVO Hydro
TV had no reception. Room had a nice view but had a wet room which i probably should have noticed on booking to be fair which was not very nice

The location of the hotel to the SEC was great, just a short walk to the conference that I was attending. Similarly, it was only a 15 minute walk to Finnieston, with lots of restaurants and shops. The room was overall good, a decent size with a nice view of the River Clyde. The buffet breakfast was good too and did the job on a morning before heading to the conference. Water pressure in the shower was good. Overall the hotel was reasonably quiet with a nice bar downstairs in the evening. The staff at reception were friendly and helpful too.
The bathroom felt a little compact, with not much space between the toilet, sink, and shower. The king size bed felt a little too big for the room, a queen would have been fine, especially since it was essentially two singles linked together. I had two parcels delivered to the hotel, one was found straight away on my arrival, the other took another couple of days to track down. The room decor was very Hilton, it did feel a little dated, but was fine for a few nights stay.

Comfy Room, nice bar area
Check in, took far too long should have had more staff checking people in as every one seemed to arrive at 3pm. Breakfast, not enough space to accomodate the amount of guests, seems that having more rooms appears to be more important. Very slow lifts, far easier to use the stairs.

Very close to Hydro. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance.
Dining area is very small but staff work quickly to help you find a table for breakfast.

Very clean and close to the Hydro.
Very let down by the restaurant and bar. For the number of rooms they have they just cannot accommodate for their guests. Was not able to have dinner and queued for the bar to have my request of how I like my drink rejected. Might be petty, but this is a Hilton hotel! Major improvements needed.
