Breakfast was good We arrived early and we got a room ok but we had requested a ground or lower floor and ended up on 3rd floor.
No wifi the 2 days we stayed No shower gel in the containers for 2 days Room service was terrible tried to contact them for 15 minutes then eventually had to go downstairs to the restuarant myself to order food.

My partner and I recently stayed at your hotel over the weekend, and unfortunately, we left feeling disappointed with our overall experience. We felt that several aspects of our stay fell below the standard of service we had expected. When we first checked in, the gentleman at reception did not make us feel particularly welcome. What made this more upsetting was that, later on, while we were waiting for our Uber, we noticed that he was much friendlier and more welcoming towards other guests. This left us feeling uncomfortable and questioning why we had not received the same level of warmth and customer service. A few hours later, we visited the hotel restaurant for some drinks and food. After explaining this, we were initially told that we could sit anywhere, only to then be told that we needed to check in first. This was confusing and made the experience feel unnecessarily awkward. Our room itself was fairly standard; however, we noticed a mark on one of the pillowcases that looked as though the material had been melted. We considered raising this at the time but, having already felt uncomfortable during other parts of our stay, we did not feel confident enough to complain. We also informed the restaurant staff that I have a nut allergy. Unfortunately, we felt uncomfortable with the way this was initially received, as though we were being judged for having an allergy. This was particularly disappointing, as food allergies should always be treated with understanding and professionalism. Thankfully, the lady who served us after we were seated by someone we assumed was the manager was absolutely lovely. She reassured us that there were no nuts in the kitchen, and we genuinely appreciated her kindness and reassurance. She was a real positive during what had otherwise been a disappointing experience. We were also left with the impression that there may have been some tension among members of staff, as the general atmosphere felt rather uncomfortable.

Location wise was perfect if going to the SEC, parking available and plenty of spaces. View was great and bed super comfy.
Reception team didn’t smile and weren’t very welcoming. Reception tend to set the tone for the stay and it would be nice if they smiled / were a bit friendlier. Facilities wise more coffee / milk should be provided. It was only enough to have 1 cup of coffee during the stay. We also had a knock on the door by housekeeping at 9am even though we were checking out at morning. She did apologise so no issues. The shower could have been cleaned a bit better - noticed long hairs left over from previous guests.

Location superb for the hydro, not too big , drinks and food great. Lovely outside space, breakfast excellent and buffet hot which is always a bonus. Have booked again already !

The waiting staff in the restaurant were exceptionally helpful
The bathroom had urine, hair and faeces which was reported but not attended to. I have yet to hear from the manager. The front of house manager was completely stroppy when I asked politely to discuss the matter

Disappointing
Breakfast great, plenty of gluten free options. Staff excellent, especially the "more mature " gentleman who couldn't do enough for us and our dietary requirements. He was a great advert for your business.
Unable to get any hand soap from dispenser so had to use shower gel instead. Only one bathtowel despite being 2 guests. Mattress protector stained with blood. Curtains that wouldn't close on one side, therefore barely slept all night.
