Poor
Location was good, and the building was modern and clean
Friendly service from staff.
Bathroom door did not lock as metal plate was damaged.
Bedside lights did not work.
TV was not working.
Aircon was not working.
Not a great night sleep unfortunately.

Poor
The location was good, able to walk into city and to kelvingrove. Parking was helpful.
A very small room, hot and stuffy. Choose hotel as advertised with air con. Unfortunately this was a very noisy, dated and basic system that just didn’t work. Open the window, on main road. Terrible night sleep. No fan in room. This was very much during average Scottish weather, not a heatwave etc.
Bathroom tiny, tired, chips round sink, mirror chipped, I would liken it to a travel lodge at best, not a 4 star hotel.
Lastly when hotel clearly not full why would put parent and child in room 223? Which backs onto a lift shaft? All evening and then from early morning clunking of lift shaft through wall.
A good night sleep is why people book hotels, unfortunately this room, hotel is completely missing the mark of the basics.
Breakfast was very cramped, not enough seats for all the guests really. Hot food wasn’t really hot at all.

The room was great. Very comfortable beds, lots of quality toiletries and spotlessly clean.
The food. Overcooked food at dinner. Breakfast wasn't great quality and only Flora, no real butter. One of the guys clearing the tables kept trying to take my water glass but ignored dirty plates on the table beside us. It was actually great entertainment trying to keep my water glass every time he swooped by our table.

Good
Very picturesque location on the Clyde..close to the city and amenities.
The staff were not particularly friendly…not one smile from reception to the bar and restaurant..
The food was okay…had our first taste of haggis, which was quite surprisingly pleasant…
Some glum staff….probably students not really wanting to be there…

Disappointing
Location was fine, full time staff
The AC in the room didn’t work at all and it was very hot in the room, we asked multiple times for it to be checked and was told it was the highest priority but it was never checked, then they flat out said they wouldn’t check and we had to ask for a fan. The safe also was broken and didn’t work. We should have been offered a new room. When asked for an extra towel, the staff was resistant to giving one.
