We arrived at the hotel early on a very wet day, we had arranged with the hotel in advance to drop a bag off with them as we were going to a afternoon show, the girl behind the desk very kindly let us into the room early to get dried off.
Lifts were a bit tight and staff were getting in with cleaning stuff etc, but looks like the hotel is going through a bit of refurbishment.

Good location, short walk into town, Q-park directly across the road, attentive staff and breakfast was tasty and nice and hot, I would stay again if I was in Glasgow.
Booked well in advance so I was happy with the price in comparison to other hotels.
Strange strong smell in the lift / lobby area - I think the staff were trying to combat this by leaving the doors open but i was an unpleasant smell while waiting for the lift.

Clean and tidy rooms
Not up to usual Hilton standards. We couldn’t eat the breakfast as the food was simply inedible. Stone cold and soggy.
Really bad smell in the lobby and lifts. Could only be described as smelling like mouldy fruit.

Staff really friendly and helpful. Bathroom was good layout.
No fresh air as windows did not open. Carpet in room was grubby, something had been dropped on the carpet and stuck.
Breakfast was a bit of a bun fight, which was not enjoyable. Hot drink machine is not adequate for number of people trying to get drinks. Old days of getting a pot of tea delivered to your table were much better,
