Unfortunately the heating was not working in the room, though the staff were kind enough to supply a portable heater. I later learned the entire floor had no heating. Furthermore there was an issue with the boilers and unfortunately there was no hot water.

Staff were kind and welcoming. Room was perfect and clean. Breakfast was very good and staff very attentive. Lobby was cosy and clean.
Everything was perfect except the pressure of the water in shower which was quite low.

Great basic hotel with free breakfast
Our room was not properly cleaned. There was dirt on the carpet and a woman’s hairband under the bed.

Wonderful
All the staff were lovely and chatty, we felt very welcome.
My only complaint are the doors, quite a few of the doors banged loudly on closing. The downstairs toilets as well as the doors to the lifts and stairs. Other than that, all was good.

Breakfast provided a good choice, but I think the scrambled eggs were not made with fresh eggs - dehydrated?
The bed was very hard, we both did not sleep well. The offer a topper would have been gratefully received!

Wonderful
When we arrived, our first room did not habe any hot water and was cold. Madison tried to get it all sorted but eventually changed our room. She went over and beyond for us and her customer service was above and beyond. This just made us settle in easily as it was our first visit to Scotland. Loved that we could use the gym room and wasy access to get everywhere. We will be back.
