Wonderful
I thought the location was brilliant, especially since we were at The Hydro and then going to the station the next morning I liked the size of the room, I could’ve done with maybe another two pillows in each room but then maybe there was one in the cupboards, we didn’t check. I really liked the board where you could book an Uber, that was pretty alick and so helpful.
The outside of the hotel could do with a bit of a paint as it wasn’t as sharp as the other hotels in the area

Very Poor
We had huge blood statins on our carpet. We reported this to reception and got 0 apology and no offer to change our rooms. It felt scary to sleep next to what I can only assume is a crime scene!
The pool was filthy and you can see layers of bacteria and other peoples dead skin flakes in the hot tub. On top of that they have swim lessons everyday so you only get a small sliver of the pool.
And as a woman you have all the old dads from the swim lessons starting at you in your bikini. Very uncomfortable to use these facilities
For breakfast we were told we are not allowed to eat our food in the hall with everyone else despite it being half empty in there and we must eat our breakfast in our rooms. We were the only black family staying in this hotel and this felt racially motivated as we were the only ones told we are not allowed to eat with everyone else. If you are a non white guest they will try to segregate you!
You are not given a fridge or safe in the bedroom and must pay extra for those! Even a cheep holiday inn has a safe! The tv doesn't have Netflix and the iron doesn't work! The heating is locked at 28°c so you can have either a freezing cold room or a boiling room.
This hotel does not feel safe to stay at as a woman or a non white guest!!! Tho everyone runs the risk of sleeping next to a puddle of blood with no option to change rooms!

Spacious room, cleanliness, friendly staff.
No TV remote. Requested a replacement. Had to collect it from reception. New remote didn't work either.

The staff were very helpful and polite. They were very quick to respond to a small issue of not enough towels in the room.
The bar area is the only place for food which was limited and I feel expensive.

Wonderful
Great facilities, nice big clean, comfortable, quiet rooms with plenty of space for our large bags. I loved relaxing in the bath. Bonus *** this hotel offers a heated pool, spa & steam room plus a full gym, there's also a very nice bar and breakfast is available for guests should they want it. Staff were very easy to deal with & helpful close to the river.
Glasgow is a mess atm, dug up roads and hoarded properties, streets blocked off with no proper signage making it harder than should be to navigate your way around using gps. The hotel looks close enough to places but with all this happening it's not as easy to walk. Catching hop on-hop off bus was a nightmare as stops have changed and no one can tell you where the stops are.

I thought it was reasonable for having the facilities they have.
When walking along Argyll St we couldn’t see if it was the hotel maybe they should have signage on the Argyll St of it .

Great location, lovely spacious room.
There was a small wet puddle on the floor next to the toilet in our rooms bathroom when we checked in which did not dry up during our stay.

Brilliant location, staff friendly & welcoming. The facilities were great ,no need to leave the hotel if you didn't want .
Close to Hydro ,SECC which was why we picked this hotel .
Highly recommend.
Truthfully ,nothing but if I had to pick something it would be the lack of parking but that wasn't an issue for us.
