The location and restaurant were excellent. The room was spacious and spotless.
The bar closing at 10.30pm on a Saturday night. Why? The hotel is close to the Hydro and we wanted a drink after seeing Peter Kay. Speaking to a few other residents, they were also surprised that the bar closed so early.

The stay was very good , the room was clean and comfortable. The food in the bar was reasonably priced and very good quality.
The bar closed at 10pm . The Spa and pool were quite underwhelming in size . The pictures on the website made them look a lot bigger. We used the pool only once and found that the hotel have kids swimming lessons open to the public taking place . This was not relaxing as a Spa should be, it was noisy and half the pool was closed off to us as hotel guests. The towels provided were only hand size towels and had we have know , we would have brought our own.
The parking for hotel guests is also very disappointing. I was told by a member of staff I could pre book and pay for parking but wouldn't be guaranteed a space.

We got upgraded, and got two sofas in our room. Very spacious.
Toilet seat didn't fit. Mattress very well used and lumpy. Stained towels.

When we arrived girl at reception was lovely, really helpful and also gave us a free upgrade to an apartment.
Apartment was spacious, clean
Bar was lovely too
Pool, sauna and jacuzzi all included in the price too
We were staying as were at a show at the hydro perfect location

All off it it was amazing very happy I asked my girlfriend to marry in the hotel and she said yes the hotel was 10 out of 10 I would recommend room was great

Free room upgrade, excellent size superior suite. Amazing staff, so friendly and service exceptional, especially reception and bar staff. Beautiful morning swims in clean pool. Will definitely stay again.
Bed was a little uncomfortable, but took second pillow from wardrobe and had a much better sleep. Not enough to put me off booking again.
