Hotel was very clean. Staff very welcoming and helpful. Executive room was very spacious. Bed was very comfortable and pillows were excellent. Very nice toiletries. Pool area looked very nice but I didn't use it due to time constraints. Good selection on offer at breakfast and the food was excellent.
Hotel room was uncomfortably warm, possibly due to sunshine through windows over course of the day. The air conditioning didn't have much affect. Would suggest keeping curtains closed before guests arrive.
Lever on shower tap was loose and kept falling off.
Would have liked to have seen biscuits on the hospitality tray - especially on an upgraded room.

Strange to have 2 single beds put together but very comfortable. Shame the hotel seemed to be an industrial area.

Firstly the property is in a very good location. Close to the city centre, and trains if you’re travelling.
The breakfast has an impressive selection, from cooked to continental. I am vegetarian and did not struggle to find something nice to eat.
On arriving at our room we noticed it was insanely hot. We could not open a window, but did find a fan so decided to give that a go, It was useless. Nor my son or myself managed much sleep, because the room was far too hot. Although outside was freezing. The next morning we was offered a disabled room that did allow the window to open about 2 inch, which did help slightly.
The beds are quite firm, which I find hurts my back. The pillows were horrendous. No support in the pillows at all, within minutes you might as well be laid on the mattress without a pillow. The filling seemed to separate.
Sleep is quite important to most people, and we are no exception. With that in mind I would not stay here again. The rooms are a good size and have all you need, but the beds and pillows let the property down.
The heat in each room should be controlled by the occupants, not the hotel. I’ve never stayed in a 4 star hotel and not had air con. They have disabled it in the whole hotel.
It’s clear that they have updated some parts of the hotel, but the rooms are still dated.
One of the staff made a very unnecessary comment about us visiting to watch the football. She asked what had brought us to Glasgow, I explained we was watching football all, and staying for 5 days. She was quite rude about how she hates football, and add she doesn’t get on with many people that like the sport. I found the whole interaction quite odd, and unnecessary, she asked and then was rude about my response. Very odd. Even my son noticed. Not sure if the girls name.. young, long brown hair on reception.

We stayed here for 3 nights. Everything about this hotel was amazing. Staff, customer service, rooms, facilities, 15 minute walk into the hustle and bustle of Argyle Street....all brilliant, couldn't fault it. Definitely value for.money including the great breakfast to start the day. We will be back, thank you so much!

We have stayed here in the past (over a number of years) and the hotel was beginning to become dated. Now though changes have been made and the hotel has been updated. It’s looking back to how it was.
We were upgraded to a suite for our stay having only booked a standard double. The suite we were given was lovely.
Staff were really friendly and helpful.
When we arrived back from our concert the bar was already closed…a bit early for a Saturday night.

Comfy bed, spacious room, bathtub. Great restaurant & bar downstairs.
Leisure facilities only 4-8pm is a bit of an L. Not much immediately around the hotel.
