Convenient location and comfy beds.
Tired rooms, nowhere to get food after about 9pm. Recommended Parking was not close to the hotel. That wasn’t made clear as if you had mobility issues it’s too far.

Nice solid bed and comfy mattress.
Small window in corner of room was only window.
No room offered with 2 beds. Sofa bed for young lad not great.
TV position inadequate for both bed areas to see.
Poor air flow.

I loved everything about our stay. Every single member of staff in the hotel goes above and beyond to ensure you have a wonderful stay. Donald from the bar / restaurant and Scott from reception really stood out for us. Donald made sure everyone in the bar area was happy and was running around daft for the duration of his shift ensuring everyone was catered for. He was a gentleman. Scott from reception gave us his own personal iPad to watch the darts on as other guests had requested the football on the television. We were blown away with the kindness of the staff here. The rooms were spotless and cosy, the pool area always kept in pristine condition as well.
There was nothing that I didn’t like from the hotels point of view of view but the one thing that let me down during this stay was the rudeness of other hotel guests. It is nothing against the hotel and I actually felt really bad for the hotel workers overhearing some of the ways guests speak to hotel staff. People at the bar area having no manners when a member of staff has brought lots of drinks and food to their table and never once was there a please or thank you. Baring in mind this was on New Years Day so the staff members are away from their families and still providing an excellent service for everyone and people can’t give staff the time of day or be courteous and say “please” or “thank you”. Another thing, in the pool area I noticed guests do not follow the rules properly either and just tend to do as they please. One person sat in the jacuzzi for over 40 mins even though the signs clearly say “please vacate the jacuzzi when it is turned off”. Therefore stopping other people from going in and using it. Another guest was in the pool causing mayhem and splashing other guests whilst they were trying to relax or swim. The guest then proceeded to get out of the pool and pick up one of the floats from the swimming lessons and bang it on the floor making a loud BANG and everyone got a fright. I just thought this was so rude and people use this space to relax and unwind and guests behaving this way make it really difficult for others. It is just rude. If the guests stopped treating staff like servants and like normal human beings that would make my stay more enjoyable.
