The staff were very nice
The pool was being used for swimming lessons and there was no information about this even when I asked staff could not tell me when this would not be the case. Communicating this when checking in would be helpful as inflation about availability and opening times was not accurate.
The changing area for the pool had a stale pee smell.

Curtains too light/short so let in a lot of light, bed had a very creaky headboard, every single movement caused it to creak

Good communication from check in desk prior to arrival, simple check in, great priced hotel in a good area. Facilities were great, although didn't use the leisure facilities personally. Would recommend

There was a function on during our stay that we weren’t made aware of until we turned up. Reduced services and reduced menu at dinner and reduced menu at breakfast. Full price paid for reduced services. Messaged the hotel about this and was ignored.

Good location for walking to the hydro and for walking in to town. Multi storey isn't far from where we left car.
Staff were so friendly, they made the stay! Rooms were great and comfortable beds. Breakfast was really good to get day started and staff were attentive when we were sat in bar area playing board games.

So cozy, comfortable and lovely overall. Friendly staff.
It's hard to find anything. The toilet flushing mechanism could have functioned a bit better, it was however functional enough so we didn't have to speak to the reception.

Breakfast was great. The bar meal we had one lunch time was amazing. The water coolers located around the hotel was brilliant. I always have a glass of water by the bed.
