For people sensitive to this (which people who are not may find difficult to imagine being important) could there please be a way to request the desired level of artificial scent in a room? Absent, mild, strong, chemical weapons grade; that kind of thing. Thanks.

Great value for an overnight stay close to the airport. Staff friendly. Room clean and a good size. Shower warm and powerful. Bed comfy. Quiet location - shame about the couple having loud phone calls next door but that's always a risk in a hotel. Hotel website has a disclaimer about sometimes having events, which is worth noting.

We booked a single room as this property was close to the airport and we had a late flight coming back from holiday. We didn’t end up staying in the hotel. When we booked we noted we’d not be arriving until circa 2am. Nothing back confirming any issues. We booked about a week before leaving for holiday. Whilst on holiday we received the automated check in options and it only ran up till 10pm. Clearly no good for what we needed. We send 6 messages to the hotel via the booking.com chat function and then 2 emails questioning if the 2am arrival was going to be a problem. No response to any of the messages or the emails. As time was ticking on and we were getting apprehensive about having a bed following a late night we tried calling. We must have called 10-12 times on the Saturday. Not once did we get to speak to someone. All automated options which rang out. Message left after numerous tries. Not responded to before midnight on the Sunday. As such we booked alternative accommodation. Couldn’t take the risk. We didn’t end eventually get a call back. 3 days later and 2 days after the booking would have happened.

Nice sized room with comfortable bed. Bed linen was clean and the duvet was very warm. Bathroom was clean. Good tea and coffee making facilities in room. We had an early check out so couldn’t have breakfast so can’t comment on that.
The hotel owners really need to have the significant pot holes on the drive in and out of the hotel fixed. We arrived in the dark and almost didn’t see them so drivers could seriously damage tyres and wheels particularly low profile wheels. There was a small amount black mould in the sealant in the shower so would benefit from replacing the sealant.

The restaurant was very nice and the staff friendly.
Fan noise from the restaurant downstairs in the bedroom all night. Earplugs required if you're a light sleeper like me.
