Set within 360 acres of grounds and with panoramic views over the River Clyde, Gleddoch Golf & Spa Resort features an indoor heated swimming pool, outdoor Hydrotherapy Pool and an on-site 18-hole championship golf course. The Imperia Spa has undergone a luxurious transformation and is now open offering a luxurious escape, where the grandeur of a bygone age meets the wild beauty of Scotland’s natural landscape. Thermal & Relaxation Experiences include an outdoor sauna offering panoramic countryside views, Aroma Steam Room and Salt Steam Room alongside a deeply cleansing Pink Himalayan Salt Sauna. Wet Facilities include an indoor swimming pool. Guests can unwind in the soothing warmth of the outdoor Hydrotherapy Pool or experience invigorating contrast therapy in the Ice Fountain, Sensory Showers and Cold Plunge Pool. Wellbeing Studio and Fitness Suite Fitness facilities include gym features a dedicated free weights area, and Peloton bike. In the Wellbeing Studio, guests can join a variety of instructor-led classes, from yoga and Pilates. As a guest staying with us you can reserve your 2-hour spa access direct with our Imperia spa team. These time slots are subject to availability and bookable between 7am-9am and 5pm-9pm. Access to Imperia Spa facilities (including swimming pool) is available to book from £25 per person. Children under 16 years of age are not permitted to use the spa facilities. Those aged 16 to 18 years of age may use the spa if accompanied by a responsible adult. Access to our gym is included with your stay. Free WiFi access throughout is available and on-site public parking is possible free of charge. Rooms at Gleddoch Hotel Spa & Golf are equipped with tea and coffee making facilities, a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom fitted with either a bathtub or a shower and a hairdryer. All rooms offer views either the surrounding grounds, gardens, golf course or Clyde Estuary. Views and Spa are second to none , staff is great , very pleasant and professional.
The whole places need a bit of TLC, furniture at the Nineteenth bar is ripped, cushions very tired and windows , glass doors not cleaned. Our room had marks on the carpet and furniture had scratches. Floors in the restaurant could be cleaner and cop webs could be cleaned from lighting in the main restaurant.

The room was clean
I thought for a spa hotel the facilities would be free not £25 per person on top of your room already. If I knew this would be the case would just go to a normal hotel. Wasn’t sent an email and still tried to charge me for using them when that was never the case. Would never stay here again poor from staff do better.

All the facilities were at a really high standard, with both restaurants stunning with the food being delicious. Our rooms were lovely and to a high standard. The standout for us were the spa facilities, with the pool huge and well heated. There were two steam rooms, one in door sauna, and another outside, as well as a large hot tub outside with amazing views.
What could have been better were the staff. They were super friendly however service was slow, and we had quite a few errors with our dinner order. We had to go up and get our bill, after asking twice, and for breakfast took us a while to get seated as well as took a while to get our coffee orders. The staff felt quite young and inexperienced but did approach their errors with apologies.

The rooms were very spacious, spa facilities were amazing
For the price we paid for the hotel room I do believe that the room looks very tired. There were chip marks on the ceiling both in the room and bathroom and black marks on the toilet ceiling. Also felt the cleanliness wasn’t 100%. The spa should be included with the room price as the room was not cheap and while it is an amazing feature to have, it would be nice for guests to be able to enjoy it as part of their stay.

The spa was excellent, rooms were comfortable and clean didn’t like the distance from reception to the spa bit but wasn’t really a massive issue
I paid for red wine and rose petals as an added extra but got chocolate strawberries instead of wine and was charged after checkout for this? I also thought it was pretty expensive at £25pp for the spa and could only choose certain times

The hotel was just beautiful. I loved the decor, it was clean and our room (ex king) was a great size. The room had all amenities required and the spa was just phenomenal

Plenty of space in the room to relax and a nice junior suite with a great view across the golf course. Plenty of seating space in the room, and decor was nice. Food in the restaurant was great, and a good choice and breakfast was fantastic.
No fridge in the room, and given the cost and size, you would expect to have this. Also would have liked a bath as an option in the bathroom. Also felt that the cost to use the spa facilities was a bit steep considering we were residents.
