Disappointing
Staff very friendly and very comfortable bed. Beautiful hotel and surroundings.
Charging hotel guests £25 for 2 hours access to the swimming pool.etc is a joke. This used to be included. Also only available from 5-9pm. Not impressed. Coffee machine was broken and media cables for tv.

Disappointing
The food was nice. The view from the balcony out to the golf course was lovely.
No lifts at all at the property, my 79 yr old mum with heart problems struggled getting up and down the stairs to our room and the breakfast restaurant. Signs to rooms and reception and breakfast were terrible, we walked round in circles trying to find them, no sign at bottom of stairs out to reception so couldn’t find reception from our room. It’s quite the maze, even the staff agreed there should be more signs.
Our view was looking into a horrid corrugated roof, after specifically picking this hotel for its abscond views as specified on the website.

Clean, the staff were friendly, great food and views
The spa is not accessible to guests between 9 and 5pm. So if you’ve booked dinner you are pretty limited after you check in. On day of departure it’s only available before 9am.
The main feature which was the outdoor pool was closed but no prior notice

Wonderful
We loved the room which had 2 double beds and balcony and great complimentary tea coffee biscuits, lovely decor, we had a gorgeous overnight. Hotel reception staff were also nice.
Beautiful views and gardens.
Bar staff were lovely and helpful when we had to order delivery for late dinner.
•The vegetarian breakfast wasn’t great, rubbery scramble eggs, and the rest tasted odd, the oil maybe? Thankfully one croissant, yogurt and fruit was still left to offer which I had instead.
•No fridge in room.
•That the spa facilities not being included in overnight stay.
Cost a separate charge of £25 for only 2hrs during the stay, with restricted times only.
•Also the fact the spa facilities having technical difficulties and was all off days prior to our stay, thankfully it was back on when we arrived, minus the over door pool and indoor steam, which were still down, but still charged full amount.
•The girl on spa reception didn’t tell us what was and wasn’t working in spa we had to ask. She was very blunt just gave us towels and told us the door to go through, although a lovely polish lady explained everything to us when we were in changing room, and got us ropes as didn’t realise we had some in room.

Beautiful settings, accommodation, room style, views and food was outstanding as well as service during dinner.
Room was not fully cleaned the previous guests left over rubbish and alcohol in one of the cupboards which maid missed. Something had been spilt all over the carpet bright red which let the room down
Spa and resorts facilities were not in use on stay and we only found out after booking and we had been travelling 6 hours to get to area

The staff were so helpful and friendly. We loved the large comfortable bedsThe situation gave us magnificent views across the Clyde. The-location was good for us on this occasion as we were meeting up with family who were coming into the cruise terminal at Greenock. The dining room has a lovely view over the golf course. We really enjoyed our stay.
The hotel has been over-extended and is rather disjointed. The part that we stayed in seemed a little tired. To have access to the spa facilities.

Pleasant
It was very clean. And comfortable beds.
We were there with our 4 children and got home about 10pm. We were hoping to order some sandwiches to eat as some of the children were hungry but were told there is absolutely no food during the night. This is extremely unusual for a hotel, given its supposed ro be a home from home and given it's such a "fancy" hotel. I asked for some drinks to be brought instead and was told they were too busy and understaffed and I should go to the bar. It was only after I explained, again, I had my children that they agreed to serve room service drinks. I asked if I could get some jurisprudence at least and was told no.
The swimming facilities were also closed to children, which my sister who was there with her family, found out when she went with her 3 children who had all brought their swim wear. So disappointing. It had been open in the morning but only for 2 hours and I believe there is a further charge to use the facilities!
Given the price, we were very disappointed. And we were the lucky ones, some of our family were out out the back of the hotel and their room was nowhere near worth the money!

Poor
The view was nice, gardens were nice, lots of cute rabbits running around. Bed was comfortable. If you can get in the spa, I am sure it would have been lovely, as it is all brand new.
The staff in the restaurant were quite clueless. Could not russle up a simple glass of wine, 4-5 staff in a nearly empty restaurant and a glass of wine took 20 minutes to come, after chasing it up. We booked to use the Spa - the entire purpose of our trip. By pure chance I enquired whether I needed to book a time. I was advised that there was an extra charge and that it was only available from 5-10pm for hotel guests - or early int he morning. We were leaving at 5am, so that left us with only dinner time to enjoy the spa. Not impressed! However when we arrived the entire spa was closed since 2-3 days prior due to a power outage, they claimed they had called and left a voicemail, however I had no missed call or message. No lift to our bedroom.Room was too hot- no air-con.
