The staff.
The fact that the room was very dirty and had a lot of damage.there was items left in the room from previous guests and black mould was coming out the jacuzzi jets.

Decor in public area was beautiful, as was the Christmas decoration.
Staff member pleasant.
Stones leading up to Reception - not high heels or suitcase friendly. Reception desk area and the desks/shelving/woodwork in bedroom was very outdated. Took away from the upgraded decor - almost like the area/room was only half refurbished.

We received a warm welcome from the friendly reception staff. The room was cosy, clean and comfortable Fluffy towels great
There was a lovely view and plenty of parking
The Vista restaurant for breakfast was located up two steep stairs, no lift available, not great for people with limited mobility.
Crockery was on a lower shelf it would handy if it was beside toast machine & cereals
Orange juice was watery.
Would prefer a kettle in the bedroom, trying to fill a tall glass coffee machine with water awkward

Comfortable bed, locally sourced drinks
The spa was closed and was not informed until a day before arrival, limited TV channels no Netflix, had to book time slots for breakfast, no room service menus in room, difficult to get there if coming by train no lights or pavement and limited signposts for hotel

Location was beautiful
Upgraded our room and there was a large stain in the carpet and a musty smell in the room and couldn’t use the spa facilities even for a swim

The hotel is very picturesque and in a beautiful spot. It was comfortable and room was clean and warm.
I got food poisoning after eating lunch and dinner in the 19th bar and was extremely unwell overnight into the next day.

We love Langbank
When we arrived, the heating wasn’t working and it was an incredibly cold day in November. We asked at reception if this could be fixed and the lady assured us she would send someone up to the room to fix it. This never happened and we ended up staying in a cold room all night. The Internet was practically non-existent. It took us ages to connect to the hotel Wi-Fi and even when we did, it kept disconnecting us. We ended up leaving the hotel just to get our emails. Breakfast wasn’t the best. We had a choice of continental or cooked. We opted for Continental but we’re disappointed to find it was just mainly bread items.

Wasn’t advised that there would be no housekeeping for 2 night stay

Wonderful
Lovely room and the golf course and spa were great. We were unlucky with the weather but we still got a round of golf in and the views were magnificent.
Breakfast was a bit disappointing.
