I love the homely and safe vibes. The position above the park is spectacular. The staff are so friendly and helpful.
The heater and fan make a really infuriating noise in the ensuite rooms. I feel bleeding the radiators would help...

First, I thought I had booked a 4 person room because I had traveled with 2 friends, but it seems like that wasnt the case and I ended up in a 8 person dormitory. The fotos of the property are extremely deceiving (all showed exactly 4 beds) which further contribute to the confusion. When I got there, no options were available for a change. For a dormitory, the pricing isnt very good. It is also somewhat away from most transports, with the closest requiring 12-15 mins walk to reach. I would strongly recommend searching for alternatives.
There are no close pharmacies nearby (the one googlemaps said was close-by simply did not exist), you have to go up a hill to reach the hostel (not a big deal but just letting everyone know).

Beautiful building, really friendly and helpful staff, room was good, ours had a front facing view which was superb.
Separate toilet & shower which was really good.
Shower was a wee bit cramped.

It was located in a safe and quiet neighborhood, yet still close to restaurants, grocery stores and transit stops. The staff were incredibly friendly and I appreciated the free tea and water. The self catering kitchen was large and the eating area spacious, and there were fridges to store our personal food.
We were in a private room which was great, however the shared wall with the room next to us was paper thin and we may well have been sharing the room with the gentleman next door to us. We could hear every sound coming through the wall. The beds were also tiny and springy, which caused me to wake up a few times because I thought I was about to spring out of bed when turning over. All that being said, I would still highly recommend this place as an affordable and safe option for visiting Glasgow.
