Disappointing
Nice reception and lovely staff on reception and in the fitness suite, easy parking
Pool area very basic and tired, housekeeping staff knocked on the door every time we left it ajar (when taking bags in and out, going to the other room we’d booked just down the hall) to tell us the door must be closed at all times - what the hell?! Felt like being in prison or in a siege or something

The spa area should have a jacuzzi, but that's my only criticism.

Room was quite , well furnished , comfy bed, smooth check in and out
Very basic room ,very similar to Travelodge but fancier , just a kettle , tea bags , Nescafé sachets, no complementary water or coffee machine . I would have got all of this in Ibis , premier in ir upgraded room in Travelodge for less than £325 in the 3 nights I spent there. This is the Marriott not just a motel.
When I asked about the water I was told that tap water is drinkable ( in polite way honestly).
We asked for late checkout and we were told 3 different answers by the same receptionist , at the check in we were told it’s complementary till 1:30pm , next day we were told it’s only till 1 pm!
We asked the hotel to book us a taxi for the next day at certain time so we can catch our flight but the recipient said she can’t grantee the taxi would be there on time and she advised us to get Uber, again I was surprised but I believe this was my fault that I had high expectations!

The bar, size of room, and breakfast. Staff were also super friendly and helpful.
Bed wasn’t comfortable at all, quite lumpy. The bed also didn’t have a duvet or blanket, or even one available in the room. I was quite cold, and didn’t even have the aircon on.
Restaurant also wasn’t open for food in the evening.

The leisure centre is very good. Staff very nice and helpful too.
The bed, the pillow and the duvet are very uncomfortable. The bed is not hard, its just feel like u r sleeping on a plastic tray. The pillows are not comfortable too.
The aircon is very noisy.

It was nice and breakfast was good
I asked for a bottle of Prosecco to be put in the room that I would pay for on arrival. I was told this would be done but it wasn’t mentioned. I thought that maybe they would ask for payment when checking out but there was nothing in the room. There was balloons and a card which was really nice but I was disappointed that we didn’t get the Prosecco to celebrate with. It was supposed to be a little surprise. Booking.com also said use of facilities was an extra charge so we didn’t have swimwear with us so we couldn’t use it. Would be nice for the info to be updated.
