Breakfast and the staff at breakfast were lovely.
I found it insulting that I was asked to pay an extra 30 pound to check in 3 hours earlier. I stayed for 8 nights which is a substantial amount of time and travelled 36 hours from Australia to get there. The room was ready and cost nothing to open it earlier. I checked out 3 hours earlier but certainly wasn’t offered a discount of 3 hours. 30 pounds is not the end of the world but requesting it shows a disrespect of loyal customers who have entrusted their whole stay with you.
