After the behaviour of the staff of this hotel it is hard to say. I think this hotel has seen better times but needs renovation and proper management. Nowadays, the overall service does not correlate even to the 2 stars hotel.
One of the worst hotel’s experiences I have ever had. During our stay the hotel was charging some strange amounts from my card even though we paid for everything during check in using another card and I told the staff that I don’t want to use this card for any payments. In 2 days after we checked in I have noticed that more than 500 pounds disappeared from my card without any explanation. When I contacted the staff regarding this amount nobody could explain why I was charged. Next day they again mistakenly charged me more than 300 pounds all in all blocking more than 800 pounds on my card. The manager of this hotel was not much helpful either. I had to spend hours to resolve this issues and get my money back. All staff in this hotel are poorly trained and incompetent. It is not kind of service I had expected from any hotel and especially from the Marriott chain.

Great location, free car parking, staff were great, got access to the club lounge which was very kind! Room size was great, the view not great but it is Glasgow! Hop on hop off bus stopped on the opposite side of the road to the hotel so you can see the best of Glasgow from there!

The rooms were big and spacious. It was only a 6 min walk from Glasgow Central train station. The breakfast was amazing with both hot and cold food, including an omelette bar! There is access to a pool, but it was a bit of turns and walking to get there. No hot tub though. It was a fairly central location and had nice facilities.
