It’s between the core downtown area and the West End. There is a Scot Rail station next door, and the walk to Glasgow Central is ~15 minutes. Transportation options are good. It’s an old building but recently renovated. Rooms are smallish but not unlike other UK big cities.
The beds are the most uncomfortable that I can remember in a Marriott, and I’ve stayed in many Marriott family properties. I’d stay around the West End or SEC next time. The area directly around the building is soulless, but you can easily walk to other areas.

The hotel is in a great location. The rooms were spacious and everything we needed. The leisure club is an added bonus and there is plenty of car parking spaces. All of the staff we met were absolutely amazing. I must make a special mention of the lady who was front of House at breakfast she had an individual rapport with every hotel guest and was absolutely fantastic.

The rooms were big and spacious. It was only a 6 min walk from Glasgow Central train station. The breakfast was amazing with both hot and cold food, including an omelette bar! There is access to a pool, but it was a bit of turns and walking to get there. No hot tub though. It was a fairly central location and had nice facilities.

Kind staff, good breakfast.
The breakfast could have more variety. Sauna is awful, next to the pool, no peaceful place to rest, people from the pool are getting in in swimsuits and slippers and without towels.

The air conditioner in 810 did not cool the room appropriately. Complained on stool not flushing properly. Maintenance came and said it was ok. It ever worked properly because the flushing mechanism needs changed. You had to pump the flushing lever several times to get water to flow in bowl.
Breakfast and cast iron grill food was very good. From desk people very helpful. Great help from bell man’s assistance for hospital emergency trip.

Continently located 20 minutes from city centre. Close to train stations and walking distances from restaurants and businesses. Staff was polite and the rooms were clean.

The staff moved our rooms mid stay and did not tell us until after the fact- touched all of our personal things even though we had do not disturb sign on doors
