I really appreciated the response from the gentleman at reception when I raised concerns about problems I had during my stay. I was happy that he understood my complaint and dealt with it very professionally.
The woman who seemed to be in charge at breakfast greeted us by telling us we had 10 to 15 mins to eat and leave as breakfast was finishing at 10 am. We complied with this and only had some toast. At 10 am she told us we had to leave that breakfast was finished despite members of staff settling themselves down to eat the remains of what had been served themselves. We left without finishing our coffee. I felt very sorry for the young girls who were under her charge who seemed to be trying their best to please her. When I raised this at check out the gentleman said that this should not have happened. He had helped direct us to breakfast and knew we hadn’t arrived late. He stated that although breakfast is served until 10 we were welcome to sit and finish and shouldn’t have been asked to leave. We were compensated for her poor customer service skills and bad attitude. He also assured us that the matter would be dealt with.

Ideal position. Good sized room. Reasonable breakfast.
Noisy temporarily with demolition work at back. Serious lift problems when we were there last week hopefully fixed.
