Lovely clean accommodation close to the bus station. A substantial breakfast included. Very friendly staff and a special mention for Laura on reception. I thought she knew us as the welcome was so warm.

Location for GRCH fantastic! Pleasant staff and easy check in, great breakfast and got a table quite easily both mornings
Not hotels fault but evacuating room at 1am due to fire alarm! Felt staff could have been more visible at this time

Location was good for city centre
Unfortunately, fire alarm went off at 0115, evacuation drills went well but lack of coordination at rear exit ,due to lack of available staff. Small group of guests assembled away from main assembly area. Assembly area for my room not written on fire escape plan in room ,it was on plate at fire exit door. Positive ,I couldn't fault staff that were on duty during this ,please pass on a well done to them.

We liked the location of the Hotel , very close to shops , restaurants and parking.
Unfortunately the Alarm went off after 1am in early morning. It's not the Hotels fault and that happens time to time .
However the Breakfast was not good there were no Veg options for someone who doesn't like cereals.

Location was so convenient. We were there to renew a UK passport so this was the closest. It was also next door to DeMaggios, a really good Italian restaurant. It's close to Buchanan St. Bus station and shopping mall and walking distance to Queen St railway station.
The early morning call at 1.15am, when the fire alarm went off, because some idiot lit a candle in their room. However, everyone made their way out in an orderly fashion and it didn't take too long to get back in.

Fire alarm at 1.30am (outwith staff control)
Manager rowing loudly with guests alleged to have cause fire alarm and throwing them out shortly after folk went back to bed to sleep (decisive and understandable, but annoying for those adjacent)
Car alarms in car park opposite going off around 3am (as above)
Noisy delivery vehicles around 5am (city centre life)
Then discovering Subway / trains run beside / under hotel when services begins before 6am
Mediocre breakfast (health free zone. even the orange juice was half concentrate, half water)
