Its location was very central to a secure car park and also near restaurants and bars. The room was comfortable, clean and had everything we needed. Also the breakfast being included, was a great treat to our stay.

Great location to get to good shopping buses and train
The area in general outside the hotel was quite sketchy, felt unsafe especially at night if walking back from city centre/merchant square for dinner. There were lots of abandoned shops, a homeless centre nearby. We saw another holiday inn a bit more central to the city which might have felt safer but I’m not sure maybe it’s just Glasgow in general. The staff at the hotel were great and excellent value for money with breakfast included.
