Amazing welcome from the wonderful staff and location was spot on. I left my hair straighteners behind by accident and called the hotel later that night, they had them safe for me. They then posted them to my home address in the Highlands which was over and above.

The convenience of quickness to the town
The bed was absolutely awful. My daughter and i were in agony when we woke up after the first morning. We spent most the day crawling around the town, deeply considering packing our bags and just going home. If it hadn't of been for the fact we spend so much time at school, college and work and needed some together time, we would have been out the door faster than the wind

The hotel was busy but though our room was opposite the lift there wasn't too much noise, so soundproofing isnt bad. Hotel is fairly central for public transport. Beds were comfy, bathroom was clean and staff were friendly.
Breakfast could have been more varied. Ok if you like traditional cooked but a bit lacklustre if you don't.

1st time staying in a holiday inn express, and was really impressed. Reception staff was really helpful with information how to get to a Chinese restaurant. Room was big, beds were really comfortable and clean. Bathroom was also big. Good hot shower and also clean. Buffet breakfast was plentiful and good choices really tasty. Dining room staff were polite and was really quick on clearing tables. Location was good ,Not to far to walk to town centre. Had a broken bulb above bed reported it at reception as we were going out and was fixed when when we got back.. Will definitely use a holiday inn express again.
