Wonderful
Evening buffet dinner was excellent. Breakfast was really good. Excellent sized rooms and beds. great views.
Dinner and breakfast hot food trays could have been warmer, although the food itself was excellent.
The outside of the hotel is not so inviting as the brochure picture. The hotel is under going some refurbishment.

Clean and practical.
The building doesn't look like what was pictured on booking.com. No wifi in rooms only in main reception areas. Tv aerial had to be moved about for a good picture. Shampoo, shower gel, and hand wash were all empty. Luckily, we brought our own......

Very little, the staff were friendly and the location is reasonable having Erskine bridge as a view.
The photos on booking.com website are not accurate. The hotel looks run down, it is still being refurbished so in areas it looks like a building site, so not the ambience expected. As soon as you work through the door it smells fusty/damp, the smell also hits you in the bedroom. Workmen were drilling until into the evening. The swimming pool is derelict, the building is an eye sore. Booking.com should not be advertising this hotel until it has been fully refurbished.

The beds are super comfortable
The bar had no beer for 3 days because of gas problems and I was in room 607 the shower was terrible very low pressure I showed them a video at reception but didn’t resolve the problem at all very disappointing

The location for us is ideal, handy for the M8 into Glasgow or the train from Bishopton, and visiting family in the area. Lovely riverside walks and views of the Clyde. The public areas of the hotel have been renovated to a high standard. The bedrooms are well furnished and beds are very comfortable. We didn't have breakfast but had a main course one evening which was very tasty but expensive for the amount on the plate.
The window in the room was not double glazed. The heated towel rail was not working. The pool is out of action. There was no-one on reception when we checked out and a number of people were waiting.

The bed was clean and comfortable.
The room has a river view which you can barely see through the dirty windows. The tiled floors in the rooms do no work in Scotland. The bathroom and curtains were unclean and the water barely dribbled out of the shower head. The tv bracket has had some additions from other guests I presume and the tv sits on the table below the bracket and wires.

Great location, relatively quiet too. The interior reminds me of a hotel abroad, lots of gold and marble floors throughout. Breakfast is £8 if booked ahead, £15 on the day. Continental is buffet style, cooked is by order.
Issues with the key card machine meant I had to be escorted to my room anytime I left it to be let back in. Tracking down staff in the morning that had a master key seemed slightly problematic. Cleaning of the room could have been better. Hand marks on mirrors and the tv. Hairs (that were not mine) in both the bathroom and bedroom (not loads, but I think the lack of carpets/soft furnishings made it more obvious).
