Plenty of parking confy beds. Room.nice and big
The shower curtain was dirty and moldy at the bottom. Room was. Very warm and couldn't open the window more than about 2 inches.
When told the recipient she wernt peticular bothered and just gave attitude.
When walked into the reception area when arrived could see buckets on the floor where the roof was leaking

Decor in public spaces was freshly done
Bathroom needs decorated . Menu says breakfast was 7am it was 8am . Menu said evening meal was from 5pm it was 6pm so when I went I had to go find staff . Mould in bathroom. Some booking sites still say there is leisure facilities there’s isn’t

Disappointing
Not a lot. The outside has chicken wire on all the windows. Don’t know why. Bed was clean and comfortable.
The building is delapidated.The bar doesn’t open till 5. No tv in the bar to watch World Cup. Water pissing through the ground floor ceiling from ongoing work on first floor. Had to keep looking for an iron and board from reception. No room service.

Inexpensive, and suitably located.
Staff were friendly and helpful.
Some guests were unnecessarily noisy.
It is possibly the most unusual UK hotel I’ve ever stayed in. A mix of 1960s motor hotel and 1970s modernism mixed with a 1980s Indian restaurant.

Room was excellent. Bathroom also excellent Very Clean.
TV didn't work in the beginning but not long to wait until someone came and sorted the problem. Bed a bit high as I'm disabled found it difficult to get in and move.

The room itself was large, clean and comfortable. Very well presented.
I would not recommend booking DBB through this hotel. The breakfast was ok, but the selection was small and not really worth paying a premium for. The dinner service was chaotic. I booked a table on arrival and then when I turned up for it I was told that it would be a buffet and that it wouldn't be for another hour and a half. Then the staff member went to find out more and it turned out it wasn't a buffet, but only about half the items on the menu were actually available. The food was tasty when it arrived, but it was not a good customer service experience. They explained they usually cater to large groups rather than individuals, which didn't really reassure me that if I booked again the experience would be any better.
