Really nice hotel, undergoing a renovation but despite that the place was really clean and welcoming. Don’t know what all the negative reviews are about because our stay was totally worth it. The bed was huge and extremely comfortable, the pillows could have been a bit softer but that’s being picky. Amazing view from our room, had a great time.

Rooms were not clean especially the bathrooms.
the Hygiene level. Also my floor there was alot of smell of weed. Guests were spoking inside their rooms especially week, it stank. I did report it but not sure if any action was taken.

Room was excellent,very comfortable bed,television signal was a bit iffy,it is nice to get a hot plate with your breakfast which was very good.
Two women drunk in the corridor banging on the room next to ours,that was soon sorted out.

The beds were very comfortable.The room was warm with heating that could be controlled easily.
Room was cleaned daily.
Staff were very pleasant.
On the last night there was very anti social behaviour from the room next door .Guests were intoxicated and the noise went on for many hours.Staff responded to the complaint however it did not make any difference so we left at 2am as it was clear there was not going to be any sleep

There was a crystalyte floor and grand entrance fit for a king, a piano in the bar which was actually furnished with the essential chairs that were amazing each a gold lion door knocker on their back the like of which I had seen only in dreams. Breakfast was as reasonably priced as it gets and well worth waiting for. A friendly, charming and light hearted bar tender and dedicated receptionists were on hand to help.
There was little that was not right about the property except the area which may have been remote and difficult for pedestrians and this was even remedied by excellent signage and provision of lighting. I was pleased with the carparks but the room key was not always successful (it was one of the card ones) My bedroom door failed to lock completely Room 304 and toilet seat needed maintenance but I’m not complaining: it is a difficult task to stay on top of plumbing, maintenance, fire safety, cleanliness and security, don’t misunderstand me! I get it!

Nothing to like.
The bed was covered in excrement, the towels were filthy and disgusting.
The lights did not work.
The smell from the bedroom was overpowering and unbelievable.
TV, didn’t work kettle was making strange noises before it turned itself off.
A very scary event which we decided to leave the property and refused to stay in it.
The Room number was 419…

Staff are friendly and approachable . It's the third time we have stayed at this location and wouldn't hesitate to come back to stay as all staff are great and meet every expectation that you acquire and the rooms are a good size and beds are really comfortable. We will be staying at the mutha again.
