Didn’t have breakfast as our time was restricted and we wanted to visit the leisure club as well before checkout so opted for leisure club. Location handy for transport and theatre etc

The Doubletree by Hilton is a strange and a good hotel, better than a Premier Inn, not quite the Dakota, but at this price point it's worth it if you're looking for something in that range. Clean, very comfy bed, reasonably quiet within the rooms with an excellent restaurant appended. Every member of staff I talked to was helpful and courteous, the restaurant staff were outstanding actually.
It's Premier Inn plus if that makes sense, not a lot of soul, but who cares when there's a fast lift. Breakfast is a little mediocre, but the haggis and scrambled eggs were both excellent, and i had it down to a fine art by the second of four mornings.

Lovely firm bed, bathroom, window, I enjoyed the pool, bar, breakfast and staff were helpful.
There was some tissue all over the floor at the exit way of the women's changing room of the swimming pool. That was the only, tiny, thing.
