We normally like everything about the hotel and that's why we have stayed numerous times before
We were over for the celtic game and we went down to the bar for some food and a few drinks beforehand. We where then approached by a member of staff who told us we weren't allowed to where our celtic tops. We have stayed numerous times before and never had a problem until now

I was only there to change Togo out on Xmas night out but sadly end up hospital after fall down stair. Hotel was amazing and look after my stuff for me until I got out. Deffo be back thanks again xx

Location and friendly staff
Loud thumping music on Friday and Saturday night until very late. We were staying on the second floor and couldn’t sleep as a result.
Leisure club very tired looking, needs new lockers, changing rooms and paint job

The location of this hotel is fantastic. Shops, restaurants and bars are all within easy reach. The room was clean and well presented.
We stayed Saturday into Sunday, and on the Sunday we learned that the Scottish BAFTAs were being hosted at the hotel that evening. Whilst understanding the significance of this event and the clientele attending, we felt that we were being treated below the standard we have experienced previously. This was particularly the case at breakfast on Sunday morning, when we were seated a good distance away from the breakfast buffet (we were seated outside the executive area), as a large area containing breakfast tables had been set aside exclusively for BAFTA guests. When at the buffet area we saw a large number of tables were unoccupied (13 to be exact), and when we questioned a waitress were were told they were for Sunday night's guests only.
As regular guests of this hotel, we were perplexed as to why another area of the hotel was not being used for the BAFTA guests, rather than regular clientele being provided with a reduced service.
In the booking and checking in process, there was no mention of the Scottish BAFTAs taking place. Similarly there was no mention of a reduced service to clients not attending this event.
Unfortunately, this left us disappointed with our stay.

Location was great as we were going to the theatre.
It was a shame the restaurant was closed due to a function. Understandable at this time of year, although on arrival the lobby was full of guests from said function, most merry, some drunk and very loud. Unfortunately I had two of them step straight in front of me in the queue and staff said nothing, possibly due to it being easier to get them out the way and sorted. But it was the fact that the lobby seemed to be where everyone was in different groups, there was alot going on. I was with my 14 year old daughter so it was a bit much for her. Not to mention when we left to head to the theatre we were greeted with a lady drunk and not well at the front of the hotel lying on the floor with an emergency blanket on trying to slur words out. Meanwhile guests from the function just stood around her smoking. It was a shame really as it was a planned birthday trip we had waited for since march. The hotel room itself was great and I can’t fault, despite the function being on we weren’t kept up with noise which was a plus. And the staff were great,
