The location isn't too bad. The station and the Ovo are within easy walking distance.
The staff at the hotel are lovely and probably the only positive part about staying here.
I had to move rooms as the first one was so bad, and the second room was not much better.
To start, the first room was in the basement, and there is a car park outside the window, where people are smoking. This isn't something that the hotel would have control over, but it isn't the nicest. However, the window was not locked when I first got into the room and could be easily opened as it is a sash. This didn't make me feel safe/comftable in the room. The room itself was grim. The bed throw had 'white' stains on it. The kettle was black on the inside, and the bathroom had a hole in the floor. I tried to ignore all of this and stayed the night in the room. The bed and the pillows are rock hard. I was also bitten on the ankle by something. The final breaking point was the next morning when I went to take a shower, and there was a clump of hair on top of the drain. I went up to the front desk as asked to change rooms. The girl at the desk was very apologetic and promptly found me an alternative room.
The second room wasn't much better. The grout in the bathroom was covered in mould. The towels were fraying, and the bed was very uncomfortable. There was the same issue with the throw on this bed. But at least the kettle was clean.
The whole hotel could do with being refurbished.

Location very good. On the route of the bus from airport. Kelvingrove Museum nearby was ace .. well worth a visit.
Luggage store after check out .. as my onward travel wasn't until much later. Much appreciated!
I know everywhere has a shower these days. Quick, use less water, and easier to clean BUT as a personal preference I love a good old long hot soak as a late night sleep aid. Other minor detail .. in the room only PG tips tea would have loved a choice of some herbal teas too.

Location was good
Need to pay £100 deposit after paying for the stay but the overwhelming problem was there being a mouse in our room. We complained and got given a another room which was smaller than our original room so we told them and they did move us to a better room but the floor boards creeked very loudly. Overall there being a mouse in the hotel room is not clean or hygienic at all
