The location was excellent for the purposes of my visit.
The room decor was dark, the sink n the bathroom was too small, water spilling out, the shelf above the sink impeded being able to wash. The shower leaked water onto the floor, the shower temperature was variable hot and cold and ineffective. Another significant event in the room has been reported to staff.

It's a great location of you don't have a car. Perfect for walking everywhere. The breakfast was pretty good too, lots of choices, and the staff were very friendly and accommodating.
The bed was brick hard. Not comfortable at all. Very hard to sleep on. They charge £12.50 per night just to park IN the hotel car park (insane!), but it's either that or pay even more to park outside on the street. This is probably not the hotel to stay in if you have a car.

I booked a double room for myself and my daughter. The lady on reception was lovely and friendly, made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. Stayed in the family room which was very spacious and comfortable.
The room did get cold at night and couldnt get heating working. I went down to reception and the man on shift at that point switched it on for us so ended up being no biggie
