Room was very clean extremely comfortable bed , had all amenities necessary and in general 1st class
There was a wedding on during my stay some of the other guests were a little noisy :( later on

Lovely building and rooms
Noise from other room all night into morning kept awake, told reception who were very matter of fact that it was a me problem and would pass on to manager, heard nothing and not even a sorry for your inconvenience, poor customer service.

Excellent breakfast. Comfy, well decorated rooms. Nice grounds. Easy walk to train to get into Glasgow Central.
Requested quiet rooms, but allocated rooms that backed onto busy road. Nobody initially behind bar and kept waiting in the evening.

Breakfast was lovely - plenty of choice and served quickly. Could have been hotter but I still really enjoyed it.
Really could have done with a lift as my friend has problems with mobility and had trouble climbing stairs to first floor

We used it as a base whilst at the Commonwealth games. It was a great location for us as we didn’t mind the walk from the train station (was about 15mins) and the hotel was lovely. Breakfast was also a bonus for us.

Excellent breakfast and dinner. I have visited for many years, the only shame is that the previous characterful rooms have now become very corporate- albeit comfortable. Excellent staff!

Good location, nice room, friendly restaurant staff.
The shower was over the bath. No safety grab rails to hang on to. No bath mat and the bottom of the bath was slippy.
