Only a few minutes’ walk from the SEC campus, the 4-star Crowne Plaza Glasgow overlooks the River Clyde. It has a leisure club with a pool and spa, as well as a maritime-inspired restaurant and bar. Glasgow Science Center and BBC Scotland are both just a short walk across the river over the bridge from the Crowne Plaza. The city center is about 1 mile away, and the Exhibition Center Rail Station is 0.4 miles’ walk. Each bedroom has air-conditioning and a cable TV with pay-per-view movies. Some rooms have a seating area, while all have 24-hour room service and city or river views. The Club has a sauna, gym and steam room. Hotel is very nice and modern with excellent facilities.
Unfortunately our room was directly next to the lifts and the squealing noise continued all night and was so loud we had very little sleep. Real pity because I have stayed several times and never experienced any problems. Bar prices a bit high.

Wonderful
It was a very comfortable convenient hotel. Decor was interesting and inviting. Room had a lovely view of the Clyde! The room was spacious and the beds were comfortable. Staff were pleasant. It was a perfection location for access to most everything in the area.
The elevator was being renovated which made the public area bit noisy.

Highly Recommended – Outstanding Stay! I had a fantastic experience at this hotel and cannot recommend it enough. From the moment I arrived, the service was exceptional. Staff member Euan at the reception was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and went out of his way to make me feel at home. The hotel is in a perfect location right in Glasgow's city close to the BBC. It is close to transport links, making it incredibly easy to explore the city. I will definitely be coming back to stay here again on my next visit to Glasgow!

This Hotel is very well located beside the Clyde and some of Glasgow main entertainment venues..Lovely large windows to ensure best views and light. Great staff. Bar staff and guest relations definitely went above and beyond.
Car parking spaces are very close together.
