Only a few minutes’ walk from the SEC campus, the 4-star Crowne Plaza Glasgow overlooks the River Clyde. It has a leisure club with a pool and spa, as well as a maritime-inspired restaurant and bar. Glasgow Science Center and BBC Scotland are both just a short walk across the river over the bridge from the Crowne Plaza. The city center is about 1 mile away, and the Exhibition Center Rail Station is 0.4 miles’ walk. Each bedroom has air-conditioning and a cable TV with pay-per-view movies. Size of the room & the breakfast was amazing.
It’s not that I didn’t like it. I did like it. However, I’d have loved some brunch but food was not being served until 12pm. I’d have benefited from something a little earlier than this.

Location was ideal for the Hydro.
People being allowed to smoke right outside the main doors instead of around the corner out of the way.It's not a good look at all. I'm paying a lot of money for a stay and i'm met with that. The smell was disgusting and not what I want on arrival or whilst waiting for transport. The pillows were rock hard which totally ruined my sleep. No having windows to open in my room was not good for me as I need ventilation. The lifts were very slow especially for the amount of people coming and going my stay was during a convention so you can imagine how crazy it was.

Lovely pool, great breakfast, comfy bed, very friendly & helpful staff
Room was too hot. Offered another room but was late & didnt bother. Were given an extra fan. Plugs on desk did not pop up so had to crawl under to plug things in. Did not like the smell of the toiletries
