Some of the reviews sparked some concern. However, this is just a family-run, simple but perfectly nice accommodation. I was not trafficked or even offered drugs, nor did I awaken to any screams.
The main hallway looks like a horror film and could use a coat of paint.

Dated but really charming and with a new bathroom - very roomy and comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Great location close to a lovely park. I would have liked to have stayed here longer.
Beware stairs and no lift - you might need their help to drag heavy bags up to your room (the offer was made :)

This accommodation was very clean, comfortable and quiet. The internet was excellent. The staff was great at communicating and ensuring our stay went well. We would definitely stay here again!

Great location close to the Stadium. Friendly reception.
Very damp, (there was a humidifier in the hallway but I think each room needs it. Our clothes got very damp just by being in the room. Noisy, could hear the floors creaking above when someone was walking. Dirty socks were just under the night stand from previous guest. Had beds made but wet towels were not replaced. Don’t know what the use was then

Location is good, on a quiet street in a great area with lots of nice places to eat, drink, hang out....but this is the only good thing about this hotel.
Bed was not properly made, the bin still had rubbish in from the previous occupant, drain blocked in shower, chair in room was broken, surfaces in room sticky, towels threadbare and ragged, generally was just really unclean. Kept awake by constant activity in the hallways and people smoking and shouting right outside my window. The bedroom door rattled every time anyone opened or closed their own door so I was constantly on edge thinking someone was trying to get in my room. The lock did not feel secure and I was not comfortable to leave valuables there when I was out. I would also say that the aggressive note threatening fines for not doing standard things like returning keys was probably a bit unnecessary. I would not stay here again and would not recommend, especially to solo female guests.

Good location
Do not stay here especially if you’re a woman staying alone. Your gut will be sore the entire time. I found the entire experience extremely uncomfortable from the awkward staff at check-in, paper thin walls and noise all night till check out. The set up of the reception being external and the rooms being accessed by an external door leading to a dark corridor was eerie and unsafe. Constant noise made me jump at every bit of movement thinking someone was breaking into my room. It was just a horrific stay honestly, pay a bit extra and get somewhere your nervous system can relax.

The room is tired and drab - constant noise from proprietors family at night. Green light on all night in room.

The location was very good because it was close to the railway station and only 8 minutes into Glasgow central on a very regular line
We had to ask for towels twice and we were on the top floor. Another time we had asked for some toilet paper before we left in the morning and still had to go back downstairs as nothing had been done. The shower is very difficult to get in and out of. .
