Very Good
Nice self contained neat room for one traveller. Lot's of light.
This is the second time I've stayed her and on both occasions one of the two lifts was out of order. This really makes a difference to the time spent waiting for a lift as it is often full. Also the climate control in the room seemed very slow to respond and the ipad they give you to control it is a bit awkward. I'd rather have a simple wall mounted climate control UI.

Exceptional
The receptionist named "Belly" was excellent, funny and very helpful.
The night security, I didn't get his name was also very friendly and helpful as we checked in, in the early hours of the morning.
No Parking facility. I had to pay over £50 for parking on top of £200 hotel stay cost.
This could be improved and explained when booking the room.

Wonderful
The hotel is reasonably priced, although I understand they were going to capitalise on Pride. The staff were fantastic, so helpful and so friendly. Particular shout out to Thomas who was a star from the moment I checked in to the moment I left. The room was well designed and made the best use of the space available. For a small room, the bed was huge, which was ideal given I was only really using the room as a place to sleep. They have clearly focussed on what’s important to a guest at a budget range hotel. I loved the iPad control, all in one place, and a great way of embracing current technology.
It was unfortunate that I stayed during a heatwave, so the room was intolerably hot. This highlighted the limitations of not being able to open the window. My room sat at around 23°C, but I’m told some rooms were hotter. The staff did provide a fan that helped though. Maybe some added thinking is needed about the climate control else this will be an annual problem. Also, the tv stations didn’t work well, the tv kept turning itself off, or saying stations weren’t available. Its source is a digital feed, but it seemed to be a weak signal. Not the end of the world, but frustrating in the odd moments I’d chosen to put the tv on.

Very Poor
Location was nice and central
Our stay was awful. The air conditioning in our room was broken, and we reported it in the afternoon before going out for dinner. We asked to be moved to another room, but were assured the system had been reset and would be working when we returned.
When we got back, the room was still unbearably hot. Reception confirmed it was 29°C, and the receptionist even described the temperature as “unbearable” after checking it on their system. Instead of moving us, they brought us a fan—which turned out to be faulty as well.
We spent the entire night dripping with sweat and barely slept. There was no effective attempt to resolve the issue despite the hotel acknowledging the problem. This completely ruined our stay. I would not recommend staying here.

Well designed modern compact room.
Room did not have a kettle for making tea or coffee, which was badly missed.

Great location and view the bed is also extra comfy
Only one working lift and being in an upper room you had to wait a while for the lift to appear. Tv in the room didnt work so was unable to use that feature of the ipad did report it to staff who did fix it but then when attempted to use again only worked for 10 minutes then stopped again

Great central location and comfortable. Room was small, but had everything it needed. The public spaces were great and had really useful work spaces. I'd happily recommend.
No concerns.
