We stayed one night in the hotel, it’s very comfortable and clean with great provisions. However an allergy meant we had to leave the hotel. We spent from 3 to 5 am in the lobby. A staff member Ollie, stayed with us and tried every possible strategy to improve the situation. She really was fantastic . It was a situation that had never happened before, and we were a bit anxious. Ollie tried every alternative to fix the problem. Eventually we left for safety as we could not identify what was causing the reaction. Ollie arranged transport. The hotel covered the cost of the taxi and after my husband made contact a day later, a refund for the nights we did not return was issued. A difficult situation was handled very well by the staff. We are very greatfull. Thank yous

Great staff, wonderful communal spaces
Room was sometimes a case of style over practicality. No glasses or cups in room which is their standard practice. Would be cramped for two people

Booking in is quite perfunctory using a screen - even though there is person on the desk who could do it. Question why you need the screen?! The room was clean and all controls done by iPad. Bed was firm but comfortable. Relatively quiet at night. Breakfast (booked separately) was pretty good with lots of choice ie continental to a basic cooked breakfast. Did wonder if you would order a poached/fried egg. Position to the city was good but no parking on site
We didn't like the basin in the bedroom and its was quite awkward and small to use, additionally it should be in a bathroom with the toilet and shower. Definitely need to have tea/coffee making a facilities in the room - a small ask in a smart hotel like this. Lift (only one was working) was quite slow.

The location was fab for a night out in the city. Self Service check in and check out made that quick and easy. Rooms a good size. Bed was very comfy! Love the cool lights and how the whole room works from an Ipad.
One lift from reception. One was out of order. The working one was either full or going up and down for a good few minutes before it actually reached the reception floor. For a very large hotel, all lifts should be working.
