The location is handy to train stations; there is a generous free bar in the room and the room itself was spacious. The staff were outstanding in trying to respond to the plumbing issue below.
It’s a little rundown and could do with a deep clean. The plumbing was blocked in the sinks which created a foul back wash and stench.

The location was perfect!! Staff members were helpful and courteous. The room was larger than expected and very comfortable.

Great central location in Glasgow, we were able to walk to most of the places we wanted to visit. Great buzz in the area. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was made to order with a buffet selection as well

We had free lounge access upstairs but there was always dirty glasses, plates etc there when we arrived which hadn't been removed and we never saw the supposed snacks, pastries etc.. Always gone! The shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom didn't work, small point but irritating.

We were taking an Escorted Trip that began with 1 night at the Carlton George Hotel.
We decided to stay for two nights prior to the beginning of the trip
The hotel is in an excellent city centre location and a few minutes walk to the train station.
Each room had an included stocked mini bar. Very nice.

Everything about this hotel was outstanding. Very friendly and helpful staff and comfortable room. The location could not be better. Close to everything and yet quiet inside the hotel. We especially enjoyed the complimentary amenities - spirits, wine and snacks. Highly recommend!
