The hotel is very close to the train station, that can take you to glasgow city centre without the hassle of parking

Wonderful
A lot to like! However there are a couple of standout things about the Busby that need to be noted. Firstly - the friendliness of the staff is unbelievable... and secondly - the showers. Our room had a walk in rain shower - it was hot and had super pressure - probably one of the best showers I have ever experienced.
some other things to note: The hotel is on a very quite street/road - not much passing traffic, either foot traffic or motor traffic. Our room was at the front of the hotel (by the road) and we weren't disturbed by anything at night.
Things shut down early - the bar closes at 10.30. There is a local pub around the corner - we didn't visit it, but it looks fine, and also serves food if you want a change. The restaurant food in the Busby is very good in terms of choice and quality, and also quite inexpensive for a quality hotel.
The Busby is a bit out from Glasgow City Centre - about 20 minutes. Thats c £30 inn a taxi, but the number 6 bus stop is just around the corner from the Busby, it has a frequent service into the city centre and also takes about 30 mins.
The Busby has a big car park. On the day we arrived there was a wedding in the Busby - the car park looked full - but we found a space without too much difficulty. The rest of the time there was lots of parking.
Did I mention the staff ???
There's absolutely nothing to complain about at the Busby. Breakfast was standard choice between cereal/pastries and fried breakfast. Very good quality, nicely presented, but nothing very different. I was surprised that kippers weren't on the menu, but probably wouldn't have had them anyway. Worth noting that the staff are very flexible when it comes to breakfast timing. Breakfast officially finishes at 9.30 am, however - although we slightly after 9.30 on 2 mornings - a full breakfast menu was still made available to us.
The weather was unseasonably cold, (thats not the busby's fault) I wasn't cold in bed - but an if there had been an extra blanket in the room I would have used it. It would have been very cosy. I didn't ask - and I'm sure if I did I would have been given one.

Everything about the Busby was superb. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable, and the full Scottish Breakfast was superb. This is one of the best hotels I have stayed in and will definitely be booking again.
Absolutely nothing, everything about the location, venue, staff, food and comfort was perfect for my visit.

Very small wardrobe, nowhere to hand things, washbasin is a joke and small shower head is fixed so you can only turn it to point towards your body.

Nice venue, lots of stairs and heating didn’t work, mini bar was just a bucket of overpriced sweets and unable to work tv/sound system in the bathroom. Room hit very cold at night but although radiator switched on it wasn’t working. Breakfast was great and great selection but feel hotel was very over priced for the room and bar prices

We only booked one night with breakfast so unable to give a too explicit review.
Our bedroom was of good size with en-suite.
Facilities throughout the hotel were maintained to a high standard and all staff we interacted with were friendly and efficient.
Thought some of the soft drink bar prices could possibly be looked at (£3.50 for a glass of soda and lime)
