Wonderful
A fantastic stay for me and my partners anniversary. The staff upgraded us and provided extra amenities that really made the stay memorable.
Not much to fault here however the service in the bar area was a bit slow, I waited almost 25 minutes for a rum and coke to be told they were waiting on ice and thereafter to be told the rum I ordered had ran out. They did recommend another however it wasn't great. They did exchange this for another at no extra cost which was a nice touch.
As I said not much to fault apart from this. The hotel is wonderful.

The hotel is so beautiful, welcoming and comfortable. The rooms are sumptuous and well equipped. I slept so well in the luxurious bed. Wow!

Good location, valet parking, spacious room
Their service was very inconsistent:
1. Our luggage was taken out of our car, but left in the lobby for us to carry to our rooms. I expected someone to help us, for a 5 star hotel.
2. We asked for our room to be cleaned while we were the whole day out, they didn’t clean it, said it was a mistake on their end. Cleaning should be a default, especially when explicitly requested, very disappointing.
3. The room they gave us was right next to the cleaning closet, so it was very loud as their staff was going in and out all the time.
After we raised these concerns to the hotel front desk, they apologized and refunded us their valet parking fee.

Was a lovely reception area, dining area and spa. Room was comfortable with stunning bathroom.
Can’t fault anything to be honest. Would highly recommend for anyone wanting to treat themselves to something a bit more special.

Beautiful rooms, comfy beds, lovely staff, excellent spa facilities
Nothing about the property or stay is negative in any way however it would be good if people in the spa weren’t allowed mobile phones in such communal spaces, feels a bit strange to be in the background of someone’s video when you’re not fully dressed and trying to relax but that’s a people problem not the Blythswoods.

The spa was excellent and Margarita on reception was very friendly and helpful. Our room was upgraded to a suite so this was a lovely surprise.

Location - staff were good.
State of the room - broken bits of flooring, old fashioned electric heater, windows covered in putty etc. Felt very tired. Shore was a bit blocked.
