Stunning Hotel and Spa, in a great location.
Staff were all helpful and friendly.
We didn’t make use of it but the hotel offers hotel guests free wine in the expiration area between 4-5pm.
Our bathroom unfortunately smelled of cigarette smoke.
Spa times (5-8pm and 7.30-9.30am) were not too accommodating, when going for an overnight stay being in/out the spa by 9.30am is very tight by the time you’ve had breakfast. The spa was an additional £75pp for a 2 hour time slot if you wanted to visit outwith the times (if they had availability), which is a bit steep considering we paid around £250 for the stay(without breakfast).
We ordered room service for breakfast (paid the additional cost for breakfast), and unfortunately had to chase up our room breakfast as it was late (we were pushed for time to get in to the spa).

The staff were excellent and did their best. It was, however, easy to see that this hotel is understaffed. The spa facilities were very good, varied and relaxing.
We had to wait a considerably long time to get into our room and once we got there it was clean enough to be five star accoummodation. However, the staff were excellent: they quickly offered us an appropriate upgrade on our original room. It was easy to see that the delays and issues we had were a result of the hotel being understaffed. The staff were great! There just needs to be more of them.

Best hotel I’ve ever stayed in I’ve stayed here 3 times since may last year beautiful hotel with a lovely ambiance always made feel so welcome by all the staff . Breakfast has changed which I prefer also value for money spa and free drinks no other hotel I know offers this thanks again we will be back soon . Loved our room 405

Everything from check in to check out was 10/10 perfect.
Check in experience was very personalized. Shout out to Kirsty in reception who made us feel welcome, told us about the times we could use the facilities, all about our room and also supported in signing us up for the IHG loyalty program (wee glass of Prosecco after signing up too which was lovely a lovely touch).
I often find check in experiences to be very straight to the point but Kirsty was genuinely interested in what we had planned for our stay etc.
The room was absolutely stunning, large room, clean and the minibar/snacks were a great touch (we stayed in the Premium King Room so minibar is included with these ones)
Robes and slippers too, clean and very cosy!
Unfortunately we didn’t have time to use the spa but I have done the twilight experience before and it’s magical.
All round - the best overnight stay I have had in Glasgow, and 100% will return to the Blythswood hotel!
