Great beds, breakfast and staff. Spa was amazing and a great way to start or end the day. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Will be back!

when we left!!!
Service was absolutely dreadful.
Dinner was okish but for the best part of £150 for 2 steaks and a fish and chips we expected far better.
Reception team in particular very unfriendly especially the night manager!!
Room was dirty, not fit for purpose especially at over £500 per night.

We had a great stay. Staff were really good advising us on general attractions in the area and recommendations for nights out to enjoy Scottish hospitality. Spa was very good and better than many 5 star hotels. We enjoyed breakfast - especially the haggis. Our rooms were well decorated as was the whole hotel, had a nice balance of modern, fresh and cosy and traditional.
if the spa was open longer each day that would be better. its a great feature of the hotel and you could make more of it and the facilities in it.

The staff were fantastic. I had booked this as a surprise for my partner’s birthday and asked for room decoration. They were very discreet with this. The spa was fantastic, it was great during a week day, especially the residents hours, at one point we had the full place to ourselves! Would 100% recommend.
Quite a small room service menu, however the food was lovely.

A fantastic hotel! The spa is amazing, and the breakfast and rooms are excellent!
The stuff was very nice.
The spa is not available throughout the day, only from 7 am to 9 am and 5 pm to 8 pm. Additionally, the parking is not very close to the hotel.

It is a stunning building! Lovely rooms we did book a premier king so was expecting it to be a decent size, the spa was lovely and I loved the choice at breakfast also you could order from the kitchen at no extra cost!
I did feel slightly underwhelmed at the “complimentary mini bar” one packet of crisps for two staying and 3 types of soft drinks! I’ve stayed in 4* hotels that have a wee beer or small wine included so for over £500 for less than 24 hours in the hotel it would’ve been nice to have a small choice of wine or beer
Also unfortunately where our room was it was right next to the lobby toilets so we heard the hand dryer quite often but it wasn’t the worst as we were out a lot!
