Location - staff were good.
State of the room - broken bits of flooring, old fashioned electric heater, windows covered in putty etc. Felt very tired. Shore was a bit blocked.

Twin rooms booked, double rooms allocated which had to be changed. Bar service for residents after 10pm was limited. We couldn't get a table for 6 & even though there were lots of empty tables, we were asked to sit on bar stools, we declined and went to our rooms and had tea instead. Breakfast service was haphazard. Around 30 minutes waiting for tea & coffee to be served.. hot breakfast again served around 30min/45mins later. Lots of friendly & pleasant staff, but the overall organisation & system for ordering & length of time to be served is not consistent with a 5 star service. Feel its management responsibility to ensure the smooth running and efficiency of the breakfast service area. Improvements needed.
