Lovely village setting, great interior, nice evening meal
Bedroom was very tight on space, door to bathroom hits toilet inside ( room 28 ) and quite cold with radiator full blast….just a bit old fashioned but bed comfortable. My biggest issue was the breakfast as £15 for a Full Scottish is pushing it a bit bearing in mind there was no haggis ! We’re in Scotland ! Just found morning service at breakfast a bit casual and uninviting to be honest

Great size of room. Very comfy bed. Friendly staff.
The constant drone of humming from the building-was it the heating or kitchen was loud to wake me and hard to ignore.
I didn’t like having velux ceiling windows. It felt claustrophobic and the glass was really dirty-hard to clean. I’d have preferred a room with normal windows I could look out of.
Also, behind the bathroom door it was rather grubby. I think the bathroom is cleaned with the door open so immediately behind the door gets missed.

Friendly staff. Lovely welcoming atmosphere (it was Christmas). Great location for visiting family.
Room a bit cramped and dark. Would benefit from lighter coloured paint and decoration and bedside lights.
