The breakfast choice and preparation were excellent.
All of the staff, Reception, Dinning Room and Housekeeping were polite and efficient.
The Housekeeping staff in particular went out of their way to ensure that I was comfortable and made to feel welcome.
They earned the generous tip I left.

Honeymoon suite : lovely spacious room and a good place to relax after such a busy time.
Breakfast: good choice for hot breakfast.
More toiletries would be convenient.

The room was okay but there was no rail for the showers for people with mobility problems anyone could slip in the showers
Now for the breakfast I was very disappointed with the service waiting 15 minutes for toast and getting your breakfast without tea and toast first the fry came then the tea and 10 minutes later the toast and the toast was cold I definitely won't be going there again and it was out in the middle of nowhere for the price I paid never again if it wasn't for my brother's 75th birthday I wouldn't have come and the overall experience was very disappointing

Returned back to the hotel as the breakfast was 1st class last time - poached eggs on smoked haddock. Sadly the menu changed and the smoked salmon wasn't available. Bad start to the morning.

Excellent location, rooms are great value for money, Evening meal and breakfasts were excellent. Staff very helpful and friendly. We stayed here 10 years ago and it is still as good as it was then.

Location was good, room over looked the parcel of land to the side, good shower and the bed was comfy.
Room was small and very dark decor. No mirror by dressing table intact their no room on the dressing table with the tv on it, tv would have been better on the wall with such a small room. The Walls, curtains and furniture where all dark brown making the room very gloomy.

The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The bathroom was clean, the bed was comfy
Location was very pleasant
Needed help with the tv as aerial wasn't connected
There was a gouge in the wall where the door handle had damaged it over time. This had wet filler, the staff did explain it had been filled for decorating.
The tv in the room next door was very loud, could be heard over our tv. Staff did kindly contact the room and the noise did stop. We only booked a standard double as it was only one night, room was small and a lot of rooms on that corridor.

Buffet breakfast was fine. Unfortunately the cooked breakfast was only luke warm
We found the decor to be very dark. Also it would seem that some refurbishment would be beneficial.
The beds were very comfortable and cleanliness of room was very acceptable. Also the fact that towels and tea/coffee were refreshed every day was pleasing.

Room was freezing took ages for the heating to work. Electric towel rail so if you did not get up early bathroom was cold
