Good location
No curtains or blinds in the room, so no privacy and light shined in during the morning. Also, staff started hoovering outside the door at 11pm, disturbing us.

We thought the room was perfect for our needs.
What we found disturbing was a bird wing in or trash, the entire wing as if it was pulled from a bird. I did mention it to the two women who were on the desk in the morning of our departure.

The staff were friendly, the place was clean, the shower was great
The mattress was a bit thin and I think the price was hiked because of the commonwealth games

It was clean and comfortable.
There was no microwave in the common area, and there was no kitchen to use. There was no soap in the showers. It was not conducive to gather as a group and chat.

The accoms has a 24 hour front desk with friendly staff. It is a 3 min walk away from Charing Cross train station and a 6 mins walk away from the nearest Sainsbury. The bed comes with a lamp and a plug point. Shared toilet had good flow of hot water. Overall, would recommend if you just need a place to sleep.
They do have luggage storage for a fee and other things for rental for a fee as well.
Based on my memory, this was the most affordable accomodations i could find around Glasgow. But i am not sure why, the pricing was more expensive than my hostel accomodations in Edinburgh (but i am not sure if Glasgow in general is more ex or was it because of the commonwealth games?).
The hostel is a basic accoms for showering and sleeping. It doesnt have any amenities or activities.
The bunk beds can be quite squeaky, so your sleep quality will depend on how much your fellow bunk bedder moves.
