I stayed in one of the big mixed person rooms - but it was quiet and each bed had a curtain around it For privacy, as well as plug sockets. Shared bathroom was very clean and well kept - although there was only one towel lol. The staff were friendly and available 24/7 (I had to get up at 4am for a flight and they gave me directions to the bus I needed).
For a £20 overnight last minute room, it was pretty good!
The beds were a little uncomfortable - but really if you're just staying a night or two it's probably fine. Maybe would have been nice if there were two bathrooms for the 11 people in the room to share rather than 1, but it really wasn't a big deal waiting a few minutes sometimes.

Great staff, helpful and friendly! The beds had curtains and lamps so you have your light on withour disturbing others.
There was only one bathroom per room and one public bathroom, not that big of a problem, but still a slight setback.

The water pressure in the shower was great and it did have good longevity with the hot water.
Where to begin! It's a pretty dodgy part of town to start with, wouldn't recommend. There's no lift so stairs galore! Getting to the room was like a maze, and if you're in a room starting with 3, goodluck! I stayed in room 207. Wasn't told there was an assigned bed, apparently I chose the wrong bed and instead of telling me or asking me to move, they billed me £20 for it! The WiFi didnt reach my room either, it would cut in and out every time I tried to load something. Looking up museums to visit took about 10mins for a google search. and the shower wiring means that in order to get hot water you had to turn the nob to cold, otherwise you'll get an icy surprise trying to turn it to hot. This wasn't told to us though, had to have cold showers until I figured it out.

Nice and close to plenty pubs, rested and other such places.
Just a little bit noisy with construction work going on, but that won't be forever, so decent place to stay.
