Very Good
The property was well located near the city centre and very accessible to nearby shops and restaurants, plus the staff were very nice and kind.
I can’t really complain, my experience was great overall.

Good
The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Being able to enter at all times is nice, it's also reasonably close to the city center. There is even a metro station nearby.
The bunk beds have a metal sheet on which the mattress rests. The mattress being on the thinner side made it a little too hard for me due to that. Tho I know that some prefer that, so this is just me nitpicking.

Poor
Budget friendly and location is quite near to chairing cross station which is great
Charging ports are a big problem. I used corridor area space to charge my laptop and phone during my stay. I was very disappointed with this. Moreover, sometimes WiFi is a problem to take video call within the room.

Great downtown location, wonderful staff, cleanliness, comfortable beds, coffe machine with surprisingly good coffee
I feel for the price a towel should be provided

Staff very friendly. Supportive.
Had to pay for Towel. And not even a 10p shampoo/soap was given in toilet. Very sad.

Good
The location was very good to access a lot of destinations and nice pubs in the Galway centre. The guy at the front desk provided an amazing pub recomendation and overall the front desk people were very good at responding any questions.
Breakfast had a lot of options from where to choose, so that was nice.
So, I reserved a bunk bed in a 4 bed room, and when I climbed up with my bags, I noticed there were 6 beds, so then I went down and they clarified even though there are 6 beds, the room only accommodates 4 people, so in case you reserve that option, you may be surprised about that.
Besides that, the room has a bit odd smell, but that's all.

Wonderful
It was very fancy and had a very nice room for eating and sitting if you didn't book breakfast or wanted to hang out outside of your room.
People were very friendly.
Room was a bit small so it felt a little cramped (4 bed female dorm) and the bathroom was also pretty small and had the shower and toilet in the same room so if one person was in the shower the other 3 could not go to the toilet or wash their hands.

It had what i needed for my stay, booked a female only room and felt safe and secure throughout the stay.
Great location and walking distance from where i needed to be during my time in glasgow. Booked to stay here last year too, staff was so welcoming and friendly, and was able to leave my bags ahead of check in and after check out!
pillow was lumpy was my only issue

Location is nice. Staff was receptive.
The blinds were so thin all the light came in. The beds were uncomfortable and the sheets a little dirty. Also, our bathroom flooded.

Very comfortable accommodation in a good location, close to public transport, at a reasonable price.
Staff were excellent.
I would have no hesitation in staying there again.

Wonderful
The staff were very friendly, the room was clean, very close to main street, my only hiccup was, the room was to warm for me, I'm used to a cool room.
As I said, a bit to warm for me

Pleasant
It has everything you may need to spend a night, so basically, a bed and a shower. The sheets and the bathroom were clean when I arrived. Peoplet at reception were nice.
It is what you pay for. It's an old building, so lots of carpets, stairs, and, for some, reason doors. I wouldn't recomend for traveleres with luggage with wheels (like myself). Carpets were, as expected, dirty and stained. There was a bit of a smell. The road in front of the build is closed and there was a lot of noice during the day.

Very Good
Safe and clean with curtains and plugs and a big Ensuite bathroom for the dorm. It’s old and pretty barebones but has everything you need.
The vibes are kind of shelter like and there’s definitely people who are at least partially living there, which was cool with me but might put off some people. There also were some guests with little regard for others in the dorms doing things like watching tik tok on full volume or speaking on FaceTime with people at all hours of the day and night. So maybe a few more rules about quiet hours should be put in place. Also the lockers were in really bad shape and were hard to use.

Poor
The Location was great, the staff was great, The beds were sort-of comfortable (the mattress was, but I had to pay extra money to get a bottom bunk - which are handspan off the floor - making it difficult to sit on, get in, get out of.)
1) No electric kettle for hot water: a basic expectation in the UK.
2) The Door Locks were broken - with a majority of guests having to come get the card re-imprinted to get the door lock to work. (Safestay pays its employees to waste time rather than fix the locks) I had to hike up to the 3rd floor 3-4x more than needed because the lock never worked.
3) The Lounge (and only common space) closes after 22:30 - leaving no where to sit - including your own bed. Terrible for a Digital Nomad who works late at night.
4) Everything was an up-charge (tea, water, towels, lower bunk, etc......)
5) no common kitchen (no fridge, no food storage)
6) no laundry
7) Breakfast was expensive and meager ($10 = toast, cereal, yoghurt, sliced cheese, weak coffee)
8) No venting in the rooms (my room smelled like a wrestling gym). the bathroom didn't vent.
9) Shower was lukewarm at best, leaked through the night, and had no shower door - causing the floor to get soaked making post-shower activities difficult
10) the power in the lounge did not work - and the few plugs that did, have a power phasing issue - causing damage to my computer. (I had to get it repaired)
