Room was great! Even though it was warmer outside, the room never got too stuffy. I had the breakfast, which hit the spot. The location wasn't too far from the train station that a morning stroll was out of the question.
I didn't really come for the view so not having one didn't matter to me. It was a little difficult to fill my water bladder for hiking, but staff helped out right away.

Fairly central location and relatively cheaper in the area. They don't have a water dispenser but the staff are so kind to refill containers with water. There's enough privacy with the curtains. Their internet connection is also stable. The toilets and rooms are cleaned everyday. The lockers are also secure enough.
Asian hostels are above and beyond better. There could have been a microwave for heating food and a water dispenser. There could also have been a shower gel.

Great location for central Glasgow and really helpful staff
I know what type of accommodation this is but clearly defined spaces to put things outwith your locker and maybe a table with a lamp to sort through your stuff without disturbing others if leaving early. Light breakfast offering was fine but they need more than just four cups out at a time and to open earlier. I think 7am would be reasonable. Also, the lounge area seemed to have been designed to ensure discomfort rather that somewhere to rest and relax.

Very helpful staff and reasonable amenities for the price.
It's shared accommodation that's a bit bare bones so you get what you pay for, but that's not necessarily a bad thing

This is the third dorm I have stayed in at this hostel and it was probably the best one. Felt very comfortable and cozy in my bunk bed. The sheets, bedding were very clean. As was the bathroom.
The staff are excellent, particularly Thiago and the lady from Tenerife. I forget her name. She allowed me to check in early with no fuss.
It’s a great location right next to Charing Cross train station. There are also lots of cafés bars restaurants on the doorstep. I would definitely stay here again when I come back to Glasgow.
The usual hostile thing about people checking in late night very loudly when they could be a bit quieter. But that’s not the hostel‘s fault. It is what it is.
