Maureen was the kindest host and she made me feel incredibly welcomed on my first day in Scotland. She is such a kind and warm woman who made this experience really stand out. In addition, the room was so charming with a wonderful view into the hills. And most importantly, the bed was so comfortable! It was so inviting after a long day of traveling.
I can’t think of one negative thing!

Comfortable room with necessary amenities (blowdryer, kettle, tv). Excellent food and wine at dinner (Scottish salmon and potatoes, apple crisp and ice cream). Scottish breakfast was also excellent! Owner Maureen and her staff were friendly and accommodating.
It was fine for my one-night stay. Just two hours from airport.

The staff and owners are very friendly and very helpful. We had a lovely meal on Thursday evening. We have stayed there several times and have never been disappointed.
As we are mature travellers, the stairs to the attic rooms are a little bit testing. However, once in the room, it is very spacious and comfortable with good views of Paisley.

AMAZING staff!!! Our family felt like family there. Excellent breakfast, responsive when requesting anything, beautiful building and grounds. Loved our stay here! Thank you, especially, to Ms. Maureen!!!

Location was great in the centre of town although in a very quiet street so absolutely zero street noise, perfect for a peaceful nights sleep
Although our room was lovely it is a very old traditional building (which we loved) but it does need a bit of tlc, rotten window frames, small damp patches here or there and cracked window in lounge, finding the light switch to the bathroom in our room was strange, positioned behind a wardrobe is not ideal. Our room would look much classier with a headboard behind the bed. The room was beautiful only these little things let it down slightly.

Excellent option for a hotel near Glasgow airport. Room was beautifully decorated with comfortable beds. Excellent breakfast. Very friendly helpful staff. Walking distance to nice restaurants if like us you arrive to late to eat in the hotel. Excellent stocked whisky bar and comfortable lounge. Would highly recommend.

The hotel was beautiful and I appreciated the history and ambience. Our room and bed were very comfortable.
A lot of stairs to carry up luggage but can’t really be helped with such an old beautiful hotel.
