The staff on reception and at breakfast were very friendly and welcoming. The room was comfortable, a bit dated but clean and functional. Breakfast was included in the price I paid and seemed like a good deal. I only had cereal, yougurt and some coffee as I was in a rush but saw others with cooked breakfasts they looked really good.
The only problem I had was the lack of soundproofing between rooms. My sleep was disturbed by the couple next door returning late and I imagine I also disturbed them getting up early next morning.

Breakfast was lovely and great location.
Missed having a fridge, only stayed one night so not a huge issue. Remote control for TV was hard to use and grubby.

The room and bathroom were very clean. It has all you need for a short stay.
The room was very small, which was ok for a very short stay. The building is old, so is not well sound-proved, the noise form the outside and corridors is noticeable, but still ok.

Very convenient for the Hydro Ovo arena. Comfortable stay. Breakfast staff exceptional.
Parking outside hotel is £1.20 per 15 minutes.

Lovely little hotel in Kelvingrove, with a great Scottish vibe. Close to the park, museum, and lots of terrific pubs & restaurants.

Extremely small bathroom, room carpet wasn’t particularly clean, the mattress didn’t cover the bed base, (staples visible) the bed dipped in the middle

Blown away by the Argyll Hotel. Location to the OVO just a 10 minute walk. Room compact but everything you needed. TV in a great spot. Plenty of towels and a good hot shower. Breakfast outstanding, something to suit everyone. Staff knowledgeable and helpful. We will return.

Staff lovely, it was nice and clean and although I didn’t fit in the single bed I am 6ft and my feet hung out the bed I did get a good nights sleep.
I didn’t book breakfast. So went down early to have some food told staff I would pay for this in check out. I didn’t ask what the cost was as assumed it would be like most hotels. I was shocked when I was charged £50 I only had some toast and a coffee and my daughter had some cereal. This was daylight robbery in my opinion!!
