Location was good for the event we were going too, some lovely restaurants and bars not too far and the city centre is a half hour walk. Comfy beds, a bit small if you were two larger people. However it was ok for us.
The hotel is very outdated compared to the photos. The car park is small and free, however the back of the hotel is very dirty, litter scattered everywhere, the track down to the car park is really muddy. We didn't want to track out cases through it and when we asked could we come through the back due to the muddy road, they lady just smiled and ignored our request. A very strong smell of weed around the back and strong smell of curry within the hotel, possibly someone who lives there is cooking in their room. The signs for breakfast are very mis leading, soul food closed down in march 2025 so it's just the hotel using the kitchen for breakfast now, which was passable.

The location was good. Easy to get to the centre and nice area to explore. Also, very nice restaurants in a short walking distance.
Staff was nice and friendly.
Easy check-in and check-out.
Breakfast was okay-ish. They don't do lattes or cappuccinos with plant based milk (but they'd still give you some plant based milk on the side if you ask). Room was okay, clean but not very clean and the bed was a bit uncomfortable. Also, struggled to get some hot water from the shower, but it did come out at some point.
