Really good breakfast.
Room was smallest ave ever been in .Toilet shower smallest ever .Ave stayed here before and was well happy with room had last time.. Breakfast was great same as last year friendly staff ..

Bare basics for toiletries and biscuits with the tea and coffee. One of the towels smelled musty.

Location, price and hotel good.
The guy on reception Sunday and Monday morning. Glued to his phone. Hardly said 2 words to guests. In the morning during check out he didn't even get up off his chair and basically just grunted. Zero manners. Not welcoming at all. Also my car was blocked in by his BMW. He took ages to come and move it and when he did he had his head in his phone again, slowly walking and didn't even acknowledge or apologise for keeping me waiting. Rude person. Have stayed at the hotel numerous times with no issues but don't think I'll be back if this is the standard of customer service/guest welcoming the hotel now offers

Mattress uncomfortable, pillows like a bag of rocks and duvet like a thick heavy blanket.
Road noise all night, may as well have been sleeping outside. Didn't sleep at all.
No hot water in shower.

Location, food.
Staff stuffed our bag delivery on THREE occasions and then lied about it.
We were without bags for almost three days.
The delivery man even pointed to the man behind the desk and said 'this is the guy that told me to 'piss off' twice'.
We had left notes with staff about the arrival and all but the young Scottish lass (who was great) did nkt care at all. Zero. Would not stay here again if it was free.

I thought the ladies who served in the breakfast restaurant were lovely/ friendly and helpful.
The man that checked us in wasn't very friendly at all quite grumpy. The sausages at breakfast were not good quality and tasted awful.

Staff were so lovely and helpful, my partner had work in the morning and would miss breakfast by 5 minutes and they couldn't have been nicer offering to keep a plate of food warm for him and keeping some coffee on the go too. Room was good, small but comfortable bed. Location was ok for what we needed.
A bit far from any tube stations but not an issue. No hooks in the room to hang up jackets but there was a small cupboard. Older building so can be a bit loud walking around.

Very Good
Breakfast and the Soul Food kitchen are great. The location is fabulous
Room was VERY warm, and also a bit of a funny smell from the carpet - bathroom in the twin room is very tiny!
