It was a late booking and the price was exceptional. Excellent value for money and would recommend this hotel to everyone. Friendly staff, excellent location and the price for city centre location was brilliant

Room was basic but had everything we needed. Lovely and warm, bathroom and room were clean, plenty of fresh towels, curtains locked out the light and although we faced onto a busy road noise was at a minimum. Breakfast was included in our stay and there was a great selection for all. Great little pub opposite the guest house and was within walking distance to the hydro as we were staying for a gig. Very impressed with what we got for our money and I would not hesitate to book here again.
Mattress was just a little hard for me but cannot fault the room. Breakfast is not in the guest house it is in the hotel across the road, same as check-in but again no big deal. And again not a fault with our stay but the parking is absolutely ridiculous! £1.20 per 15mins is daylight robbery if you get there early like us, parking is free between 6pm and 8am or all weekend, we had to throw clothes on and run out and pile more money into the meter so we could sit and enjoy our breakfast.

Great position, not far from the center and close to university area, plenty of pubs restaurants and cafes. The room was clean and very warm. We staid a couple of nights and we can’t complain. The breakfast was good and the staff were even better, we felt very welcome.
