Room was very clean and comfortable, location was excellent, staff were helpful
Didn’t like the cost of parking. Found a cheap car park on the day after I arrived. Overnight parking was free but 8am-11am cost £15…
There was a problem with the TV and hairdryer when I arrived but they were fixed straightaway. The TV was not smart and no USB sockets. Breakfast was ok- if you’re a meat eater there’s lots of choice, less but satisfactory for vegetarians. breakfast staff were lovely, so that’s a nice start to the day.

Fair
Good location to the kings theatre.
It’s tired. There’s 2 different carpets in the room.
It’s cramped. It’s too hot. There’s no drinks glasses. It’s very basic.
It’s way too expensive and they have cashed in on a theatre night. The pillows are rubbish. There’s no top sheet on the bed.

Wonderful
This is an outstanding location almost right across the street from the university. The guest house and the hotel are right across the street from each other. The hotel has a desk which is handier than you think. Rooms are small but clean. Lots of stairs but we were staying very budget. Student area, so lots of cheap eats but we had some excellent pub food. Eat early if you can, gets very busy later. Lots of music in area too! I would go back!
Excellent for the price.

Good
Great location. Short walk to restaurants and bars and the hydro arena, which we were heading to. Room decent and clean. Booked a triple room, and there were 3 comfortable single beds, with 2 pillows on each. Nice decor, with tartan accessories, which was a nice touch. Tea and coffee provided in room. Bathroom with shower over bath. It was clean. Staff friendly. Good value.
Hallways looking a bit shabby, and didn’t smell very nice, but room was fine. Breakfast not the best. One vegetarian in our party, and not much stuff for her in the hot food - menu stated vege sausages and potato scones, but there were no sausages and the potato scones were all gone.
Meat sausages weren’t very nice, and bacon was quite overcooked. Boiled eggs were freezing. Breakfast was included in our stay, but if I’d paid additionally I wouldn’t have been overly thrilled.

Wonderful
Buffet breakfast was decent and the restaurant relaxing. The room was large, clean and comfy. The shower worked well. Staff are friendly and helpful. Location is good - easy to get to the centre on the bus, but it's a nice part of town close to the trendy east end and the Kelvingrove museum, gallery and park. The Hydro is within walking distance if you are going to a concert.
Location can be a little noisy. TV didn't always work too well.
