They have an amazing breakfast with pancakes, bread, jam, juices, eggs,... Perfect to start your day! The staff is super lovely and helpful. They can give you lots of advices about what to visit, which is the best way to go to the city center,...
I personally don't like that it's a bit complicated to figure out where to go, it seems like a maze which could be confusing at the beginning.

Staff were all extremely friendly. Location was excellent for museum visits.
I made a mistake in my booking and asked for assistance but was told there was nothing to be done. Unfortunately, I booked at two different hotels in two different cities, both with a non-refundable rate. I explained my mistake and asked Argyle staff if perhaps I might be allowed an earlier check-in as I would be paying for an extra day/breakfast but checking out earlier. I pointed out the room would be available to them to re-book as a result of my early departure. Was told no and no concession or assistance was offered. A savvy staff person would have perhaps offered some breakfast or at least coffee upon arrival as a kind gesture (breakfast was still being served upon arrival to store luggage). Very little thought process was shown, sadly. Staff is very nice but not very resourceful in thinking outside their duty. Room on first floor required down steep stairs and inability to open curtains for outside lighting as staff and maintenance continually walk past window so not much privacy offered.

The apple juice at breakfast was good
Breakfast staff cross contaminated gluten free bread in the toaster (would've been fine with untoasted bread instead of having it put in the toaster)

It was clean and had comfortable beds. Personal was friendly and helpful. Gave back our stuff we forgot in the room. Thanks. Breakfast and coffee was very tasty. Hats off about that. Great neighbourhood and location. Could make tea or coffee int the room. Quite place where to spend quality time after walking.
Had no toilet brush. Felt uncomfortable about that.

Lovely clean hotel, good sized rooms, very clean bathroom. Friendly staff.
The breakfast was good but it wasn't obvious that veggie options or oatmilk was available. I noticed on the second day after I had eaten, when another guest asked. Its completely my own fault I should have asked myself.
The food I had was lovely and the staff very accommodating
