Nice room in a residential setting that looked out onto a park. Breakfast had several options.

The staff was kind.
Hotel offers early breakfast (starting at 7 or even sooner, I'm not entirely sure).
For the breakfast there were pancakes available (they don't seem popular in Scotland), and coffee from the coffee machine (that was true exception comparing to our other stays).
The Wi-Fi was awful, barely usable.
The parking was available by the street, but free only 18-8, and 8-18 it was pretty expensive and limited for 3 hours max - keep that in mind while planning. But at the reception you will get information regarding parking options nearby, so don't worry. Minus, the closest daytime parking operates till 18 (you can pick up your car and pay till 19) and is cash only, keep that in mind.

Great Location! We've walked all over the city. It is close everywhere. Free parking on the street was very handful. Highly recommending this facility

Nice clean room with king size bed. Mattress not that comfortable. Large wardrobe with plenty hangers. Bathroom ok with good shower.
Just thought that a couple of hooks in the bathroom would be handy.

No toilet rolls
And the noise coming from the toilet fan or something all night as you don’t notice the time you go to sleep.

It is where I wanted to be. Staff were friendly and efficient. Bed was comfortable.

It's a very handy location and the room, though small, had everything we needed.
The mattress was awful and desperately needing replaced. The springs were completely gone so it was soft and lumpy. Our room was also right on the street so it was noisy, it didn't really bother me but something to be aware of
