Nice location, and that's probably about it
First of all I think for a night in a city centre and you pay more than many other establishments charge, you are expecting something a bit more special, but no...
Terrible room, layout is very poor, TV is at the end of the bed, so when you sit on the sofa you have a desk in front of you, bizarre!
I did ask the person at the desk if this was normal and he said he would see what he could do for us and let us know, we never heard from him again
City view..... barely, to get the view you have to stand up and look out the window that is too high up, sitting or lying down then nothing.
TV....this only has the very basic Freeview channels on it and that is all, there is no Bluetooth connection available to watch your own stuff, very very basic and dated.
The cleaner burst into our room at 7:30 in the morning when we were lying in bed thinking the room was empty, so you get a free alarm call, very amateur. I would have put the snib on the door, but this didn't engage so didn't work.
We did just leave after this because it unsettled my partner and she felt uneasy.
I HONESTLY WOULDN'T BOTHER WASTING YOUR MONEY

Perfect place to have a comfortable and cosy night in and watch the fireworks from the full-length windows in our City View room. All staff we dealt with were also friendly and polite.
N/A. One minor aspect of the window ledge in our room needed repair, but this didn't cause us any problems.

Easy check in. Convenient location and the room being upstairs down stairs comp mini bar etc with a luxury feel is great
I stayed in 810 and I stayed in this room last year. The sink is still cracked which I noted last time. I have stayed in the suites several times over the last few years and think they could maybe do with a spruce up. A lot of the wood looking worn out and chipped and damaged especially at the mini bar as if people are opening bottles without a bottle opener but using the wood to bang the cap off

Location was great and the room was nice albeit very warm. The beds were comfortable.
It was too hot throughout the whole building. Pillows were super hard.
There wasn’t any toilet paper in our room other than what was left on a used roll. I had to go to reception in the middle of the night to ask for a roll. Also I’d ask for a quiet room. We were put above an alley where the bins were and the bars kept throwing bottles in the trash through the wee hours of the morning.

Loved our room and location but can I suggest you ditch the cushions and throw on the bed as not very hygienic having the cushions lying against the clean pillows and duvet cover.
Breakfast this time wasn’t as good as before, cooked breakfast was very underwhelming but lovely staff and we’re back in a few weeks .time with our son who’s travelling from America.

We were allowed to check in early as there was a room available. We like the modern rooms, we felt the room was spacious and liked the toiletries in the bathroom. Also liked that they included hot chocolate in their selection of hot drinks in the room.
The only down side was the fire alarm going off at 7am and having to evacuate.
