Location
No lift. The receptionist was pleasant but, despite not being busy, he did not even offer to help with our suitcase. We are both in our eighties and our room was up one flight of stairs.
The room was exceedingly small (not much larger than the bed!) The shower room was tiny.
The breakfast was exceptionally poor.
The juice was thin. There was no choice of alternative milks such as oat-milk which almost all hotels now offer.
The scrambled egg was seriously watery as if made from powdered egg.
At these prices one would expect much better.

Firstly the location was ideal for the event we were attending. Although parking was limited we were able to park outside.
The room was large and comfortable with a good choice of pillows and clothes storage.
If we hadn’t arrived when we did there would have been no parking.
