The hotel was cozy and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was excellent, near the University and just a very short walk to the subway.
The room was a bit warm at night.

Albion Guest House was in a perfect location for us to access all of the best options that Glasgow had to offer along with close to the main street for restaurants and nightlife. The walk to the Botanic Garden and other sites was easily done. It's also close to the tram for transport. Because we had a good bit of luggage for our long trip, we also appreciated being on the ground floor.

It was close to most areas so easy to walk to all the restaurants and shops.
The parking was a little tough in that you couldn't leave your vehicle in the all day parking area so we needed to get up before 8am to move the vehicle. My husband went downstairs to the dining room to read and have a coffee and was told to go to his room because he didn't buy the breakfast. The dining room was nearly empty. Seemed odd.

Room was very cute, with a lovely window looking out on the street. It was a double bed -- perfect for me travelling solo but would be a bit tight with 2 people. Everything was laid out intelligently and there were lots of nice touches like copious outlets and a little coffee/tea maker. Shower was great. Breakfast was cooked to order. Not amazing, but a step above most hotel breakfast buffets.

The staffs were friendly and the breakfast was good.
We are a family of four with two big suitcases and a couple of small suitcases. We wish we had known that the hotel didn't have an elevator and our room was on the third floor in the loft. The stairs are very narrow, and my husband has back pain issues. The shower head was broken, and the water only showered right next to the showroom wall. We had to lean our body next to the wall to get showers. The parking is street parking and only free between 16:00 and 8:00. We had to pay for parking. Will not return for sure.

The room was pretty large, beds were comfortable and the shower was great. Check in went pretty smoothly and the staff was very nice.
We had a room on the top floor, and we had quite a few pieces of luggage so it was inconvenient that there was no elevator.

Ok for us but people should know the stairs are narrow, no lift. Breakfast was available but started at 8, too late for us given our tour reservations and flight

The location of Albion Hotel was perfect. I was only in Glasgow for one day and it was within walking distance of great places-- Ashton Lane and Kelvingrove Art Museum. The low price was great.
The only thing I didn't like was when I was going to bed I smelled cigarette smoke. I don't think it was coming from the inside, but I had to open the window to let in some fresh air. Also- there wasn't complementary shampoo and I had just run out. Plan aheead!
