A cut above most of the other hotels in the area. The staff are polite and professional and it's never a bother for them to store luggage before or after a stay. The interior has also had a bit of a refurb, and was never as tired looking as some properties at this price point in the area. It's also on a quiet side street while still being close to lots of pubs, restaurants etc.

A very nice comfortable clean stay with all the basics required and extremely friendly, helpful and polite staff.
The TV and entertainment choices were limited and dated, had trouble connecting laptop to WiFi.

Lovely hotel, friendly staff and beautiful clean and comfortable room. Only slight issue is the window didn't open and the parking is on street metered. I didn't know this until I had booked.

Centrally located, the room was fantastic. The owner, who seemed to do everything, was wonderful and extremely friendly. The breakfast in the morning was fabulous, Continental breakfast along with her home-made cooked breakfast with a choice of all the usual full English/Scottish ingredients
Not a lot really, perhaps lacking a vending machine however there are so many shops nearby it’s not too much to worry about

This is my 4th stay in this location, my previous rooms which had higher ceilings were better. Overall it is really a nice hotel. Location is great and safe, you can reach everywhere with a short walk. Awesome staff and good breakfast!
