Comfortable and quiet hotel, friendly and helpful manager. Lovely location just off the park. Simple but effective.
The television in my room was very small but this was not a particular issue for me.

The location, cleanliness, and comfort were excellent. Of course, I expected there to be slippers, toothpaste, and a disposable toothbrush in the room, but there weren't.

Great location near Glasgow University with its wonderful Hunterian galleries, the Kelvingrove museum and the Botanical gardens. Nice rooms and a lovely breakfast.
Their heating system is not the best - our room was rather cool 2 of our 4 nights

Location by the park is great - really easy access to the west end and university and a short walk into the city centre. Really good value for money.

Wonderful
Alan was the star of the show. He welcomed us, cooked for us, and supplied recommendations and directions, and he was a font of information. It was great to have a friendly face each morning and evening and a well-prepared breakfast according to our tastes. The hotel was in a good location that allowed us to get to many places on foot, and the nearby affordable parking was handy when not using the car. Our room was clean and comfortable and served our basic needs. I'd recommend the Acorn for a stay in Glasgow.
I can't really think of anything that was not to our liking.
