Exceptional
Great location, not too far from the city Centre but far enough so you didn’t hear all the noise. I thought the room was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and the host was extremely friendly and welcoming. I’ll definitely come back.

The check-in process was fine, but unfortunately, the hygiene and overall conditions did not meet my expectations for the price. I found a spider in the room and noticed hair in the bathroom and on the pillow, which was unpleasant.
The main issue, however, was the temperature in the room. The radiator operated on a timer, and the room stayed around 15°C, which felt very cold for the winter season. I informed the reception about this on the first day, but I was told the heating would only turn on a few hours later. For most of my stay, the radiator remained off, and I felt quite cold, especially after showering.
The building itself is old and not well soundproofed — I could easily hear my neighbors talking, and unfortunately, the person in the next room snored loudly, making it difficult to sleep.
There was also no refrigerator, which made the stay less convenient.
Overall, I did not feel comfortable and believe the experience did not justify the price.
On the bright side — the spider has been safely released.

I arrived to realise that my stay here will be a very unfortunate choice. Spending days and nights without heating in the room while outdoors the temperature was 4 to 6 degrees. A broken heating system that was not going above 22 degrees while the actual temperature in the room was 18. And then got even worst while there was not a non disturb signage having housekeeping pretending to be room service(!) to want to enter the room, while I was inside also and eventually not even cleaning the room properly but just touching my belongings without any form of consent. The windows couldn’t lock. An unsafe and cold environment for the price of £85.00 per night? Still descent amount to receive a descent service. I strongly recommend against people to book with this hotel as the level of incompetence and non hospitality is unfortunately very high.

The hotel is well situated and is cozy. Breakfast was good. Rooms look pleasant and clean. It was a good value for the price. I would recommend this hotel.
The only thing I didn’t like was the pillows and the mattress. The mattress was not soft and the pillows had an unpleasant smell. My husband didn’t have these issues, so maybe it was just my bed. The sheets were clean.

Felt the guy on the desk who also cooked and served breakfast found us more of a nuisance than a guest. Everything was rushed. I got up from the breakfast table to make some toast and came back my cutlery and plate had been taken away. The woman I asked to have them back was very cold.

Lovely location, clean and comfortable rooms. Nice and quiet. We slept very well.
The cold breakfast selection wasn't very tempting. Some fresh fruit or a fresh pastry would have been nice..
