A good location for a short taxi ride to the city centre. Parking on site, together with restaurant & starbucks. Also allowed an earlier check in which was appreciated.
Both coffee machines at breakfast seemed broken with limited options available.

The room we had was a club room, very comfortable and spacious.
The food in the bar & grill was great and large portions for the price.
We stayed 3 days, 2 nights and the sauna was out of use all 3 days with the steam room also out of use for the full middle day which was a huge shame as we booked the Spa hotel specifically to recover after the Edinburgh marathon the day before.

It was near to the hospital for me.
The bathroom sink plug was stuck solid so we had to buy water to brush our teeth and rinse it down the toilet pan.

First time visiting Edinburgh and I was amazed not only by the city but by my stay as well! These are what I enjoyed:
-Spacious room.
-Close proximity to supermarket.
-Close to bus stops.
-Close to town.
-Swimming pool.
-Overall safety.
Can't think of anything, perhaps if I could open the window to allow fresh air in.
