The towels provided for swimming, they were like sandpaper, it was obvious that hotel guests get different towels than members of the gym. The towels identified for them were fluffy and thick, the ones for hotel guests were pulled out of a laundry cart.

Located close to friends we were visiting. Bus stops just outside the hotel were very convenient. A petrol station just across the street was very handy for purchasing snacks and drinks.
Eating options within the facility were very limited and staff service (of eateries) was not friendly or accommodating. This was particularly disappointing given the hotel is quite isolated with no other dining-out options nearby. For example, restaurant had limited accessible seating (most available seating was high barstools unsuitable for smaller or older people). There was no attempt to open up at least one or two lower tables in another area, resulting in many guests having to eat meals on low lounge chairs in the lobby. This situation wasn’t helped by hotel reception staff telling us there was no need to book a table when clearly there was if you wanted a table you could actually sit at. The eating options at the hotel appeared to be provided more for locals using the gym and pool rather than for guests. Although the room was comfortable and tidy, it lacked many of the touches that we found standard in other hotels (that were also cheaper) e.g. no tissues, no complimentary water, no hooks for jackets/clothes.

Site was very clean, restaurant was amazing! The front desk was incredible.
It’s a little outside of main attractions if you’re not driving but not really far. The buses are beneficial though

Location and free parking. Staff are very friendly.
Only one lift. Breakfast was not great, undercooked bacon, undercooked sausages and watery scrambled eggs. Very expensive (£220 for one night) for what you get.
