Good location to discover Edinburgh. Quiet area with lots of shops and restaurants, walking distance to the old town. Nicely decorated and friendly staff.

Location and love the room decor. Good breakfast. 95 percent of the staff are good especially Megan :)
No shower with shower hose, only fixed one on the wall very high up. I asked one lady for more shower caps and they said there was none. Finally there was another lady that gave us some. Rooms a bit too dark.

The hotel is perfectly situated in the New Town in one of the most beautiful streets in the city. The staff is friendly too.

the room was very dark. It was lovely and spacious but had no natural light and that made it seem smaller somehow.

The bedroom was starting to look a bit tired which was not helped by the air conditioning not working which I was not informed of before arrival

I loved the vibe and decor, great sized room and big windows.
My room happened to be located at a busy part of the hotel I think so in the early morning and some points during the day when I was between a to toes I could hear the cleaning trolley going back and forth and anyone who entered the door that led to more rooms beyond mine going across a creaky floor. It was terrible just a bit disconcerting
