Beautiful hotel, stayed in the Georgian Suite which was fabulous! Staff were attentive and friendly. Evening meal was wonderful and festive cocktails. Would highly recommend.

Girl on reception that greeted us on Friday offered to book us a taxi at 6am , unfortunately she forgot to book it !! When we arrived at 6am at pick up no one was there , we phoned reception helpful young man informed us the taxi had not been booked the night before , he ordered us another straight away which came within 10 minutes . Fortunately we just managed to make our train , spoilt what was a lovely stay .

The hotel was lovely. Beautifully decorated for Christmas. The room was very comfortable . The staff were excellent, nothing was a problem and we managed to store our suitcases when we arrived and after we checked out which was a bonus.

The breakfast was amazing really good choice. Katherine was lovely very bubbly and helpful, alway's served us with a smile.we will definately be returning we had a meal the night before we left in the hotel food was lovely and they do fab cocktail's

The rooms were exceptional. The hotel was beautifully decorated for Christmas. Couldn't fault the attention to detail in the rooms.
We ate in the restaurant and unfortunately this area is what let's the hotel down. We waited far too long for our food and when it eventually arrived it was luke warm/cold. My peppercorn sauce arrived on the table 20 mins before my steak arrived! The replacement sauce was also cold! 2 meals didn't arrive and had to wait an additional 10 mins for it to arrive luke warm. Granted, the service charge was removed from the bill, and our waitress was full of apologies, but nonetheless, it didn't make up for our bad experience. The tables hadn't been cleared and we were surrounded by dirty glasses, in the end we moved to a different area. Despite this experience 8 of our party decided to have breakfast but unfortunately the kitchen doesn't seem fit for purpose. I would stay at the hotel again but book elsewhere for food.

Good location, nice small hotel. Staff were really helpful. And beautifully decorated for Christmas.
The light switches were unbelievably hard to work out and control. There was no hot water from the tap in the sink in the bathroom and the tap itself was not practical, it was like trying to play with a tiny joystick.

Everything was just perfect from the beautiful Xmas and festive decor to the fabulous service , food , cocktails and room! Loved the ghd hairdryer and straighteners in the room too
