The location was great. The restaurant and bar were very good for all meals. Staff was helpful. Easy cab pickup. Easy walking to main sites and nice shops and restaurants in walking distance.

Disappointing
The room, including the bathroom, was spacious, well appointed and designed. We liked the coffee machine. The amenities were thoughtful. We enjoyed the two breakfasts we had in the restaurant.
The in-room wifi connection was spotty. The wall separating the room from the hallway was very thin, the floor boards creaked, and the broken fire door in the hallway, which was right behind where my head lay on the pillow, would slam numerous times very early in the morning as other guests went through it. We pointed this latter problem out to a housekeeper on the first morning, but the problem remained unresolved during the remainder of our stay. Both very expensive nights at the hotel were made unpleasant by the banging of that door. On two occasions we were unable to use our key cards to enter the room so we had to go to reception to get them recoded. These were the kinds of problems that we do not expect from a hotel with Tigerlily's apparent standing, and certainly not at the price we paid.

Comfortable and clean room. Convenient and great location. Breakfast was good. Hotel bar and restaurant were good and very colorful.

The Tigerlily Hotel is luxurious with a touch of whimsy. The location was excellent. Our bedroom was spacious & elegant. The bed was very comfortable. The shower had plenty of hot water. We had the breakfast several mornings. We tried the Scottish specialties & they were delicious. The staff was friendly & accommodating. We highly recommend the Tigerlily Hotel! We loved it!

Beautiful hotel, room very nice however the red lighting around the window was a distraction and shone through the curtains, we turned ours off but other rooms reflected in to ours, there was no reason for these lights and they seemed unneccesary. Breakfast cooked fresh, great options, location perfect. The lady who welcomed us on the desk extremely helpful
