Great hotel. Well Located in centre of edinburgh. Easy walking distance to restaurants and sightseeing. The breakfast was large not self service we ordered of menu and coffee barister made was excellent. The room was claen and did not notice any noise diuring our stay.

Disappointing
The room, including the bathroom, was spacious, well appointed and designed. We liked the coffee machine. The amenities were thoughtful. We enjoyed the two breakfasts we had in the restaurant.
The in-room wifi connection was spotty. The wall separating the room from the hallway was very thin, the floor boards creaked, and the broken fire door in the hallway, which was right behind where my head lay on the pillow, would slam numerous times very early in the morning as other guests went through it. We pointed this latter problem out to a housekeeper on the first morning, but the problem remained unresolved during the remainder of our stay. Both very expensive nights at the hotel were made unpleasant by the banging of that door. On two occasions we were unable to use our key cards to enter the room so we had to go to reception to get them recoded. These were the kinds of problems that we do not expect from a hotel with Tigerlily's apparent standing, and certainly not at the price we paid.

Great central location, friendly staff and spacious rooms.
We thought it odd that the room has a coffee machine but no kettle. They provide a lovely Japanese tea pot, however this does not fit under the coffee machine to receive hot water. A little style over substance. Lack of pillows for a king size bed with only one soft pillow on each side and no spares in the wardrobe.

Great spacious, comfortable room in a great location. Do pop into the Scottish Design Exchange a couple of doors down for the city's best spot for original souvenirs.
Not the hotel's fault but worth noting that though parking is easy outside, it costs 9 pounds an hour. The NCP car park is quite a walk away so better drop your stuff off and then take the car somewhere else.

Beautiful hotel with extraordinary interior and design. Great breakfast and really friendly staff.
One of the nights it was really loud music, the rest of the nights we stayed were ordinary weekdays, so I am not sure of how it is on the weekends. But that night it was really loud and disturbing music and also late. We could have accepted it if it was earlier in the evening, but we had problems sleeping because of the loud music.

Very Expensive (probably due to the fringe) & no breakfast included.
Need to offer sachets of coffee as well as tea bags & had to ask for a kettle/ hard to make tea with only a coffee machine!

Tigerlily is a very nice hotel, the restaurant and bar areas are outstanding.
I felt that the amount of money we paid, there should have been an arm chair in the room to make it a little more comfortable. And I think breakfast should be included
