Comfortable bed. Lovely public areas especially the Decorations. Friendly staff. Clean. Delicious breakfast. Ideal location.
Our room had extremely squeaky floorboards which were very noisy at night.

It was in an excellent location, the hotel public areas and bedroom had a great ambience and the hotel was decorated to a very high standard.
The bathroom was a bit tired with the bath showing wear and tear and some areas of maintenance/repair to tiling and paintwork.

The staff were amazing, the room was very clean and well furnished. Complementary bottled water in the room, well stocked mini bar. The hotel Christmas decorations were awesome.
The hotel bar and restaurant was very buzy.
Very good location
The pillows were not comfortable and there wasn’t a choice of pillows which you would expect in a hotel of this standard. I was extremely surprised that the restaurant only had full fat milk, no semi skimmed or skimmed which is something that I have never come across in all my times travelling the world. The full breakfast wasn’t very hot and a bit over cooked, so not enjoyable.
We had an Asian platter brought up to the room which was not good at all but I was refunded for this. The room service menu was very basic and you couldn’t just order a sandwich, you could only order what was on the menu.
But the staff in the hotel more than made up for the other disappointments.

Location was central and easy to get around. Breakfast was great with good selection. They also do a set menú for lunch or supper great value. Beautiful restaurant modern and large. Super Queen bed and huge bedroom. Lovely decor.
Not able to open the windows for a little natural fresh air.

Lovely stay in Edinburgh for me and my twins' birthday!! Ther was happy birthday balloons on the bed and 2 free cocktails! For us on arrival, staff were very friendly! Had some breakfast the following day really nice would recommend!

Good location on George Street with lovely decor throughout.
Large room and big shower with beautiful scented toiletries, hairdryer and straighteners, iron, tea etc…. With Fresh Milk in fridge
Room 30, 3rd floor, has a constant drone sound even if air con is off ! But does have amazing views of River Forth, The bridges and over to Fife !
TV could be on floor stand to watch comfortably from seats or bed
