The hotel was on a nice quiet street but also still easily walkable to all the attractions. The desk attendant, Alessio, was very informative and helpful.
There was some obvious dirt on the wall and the bathroom floor had some buildup, but overall it was clean and a perfect place for us to stay.

Even though our stay was very short, we had a really great experience. The room was lovely, cozy and clean. The hotel is in a great location, very close to the city center.
One of the highlights of this hotel is definitely the staff, who were always welcoming, helpful, and attentive to our needs.
The breakfast was abundant and very good, and the lady who served it was kind and attentive.
A special thanks to Alessio at the reception, who was truly friendly and made us feel very welcome.

Staff threw away my belongings after we’d checked out after a few hours rather than putting into lost and found. Music played from 7:30am, very loud. Total waste of money

Gorgeous spacious room, hair dryer took 20 seconds to dry my hair (amazing), lovely big bathroom behind the “secret door”, staff were great, breakfast was lovely.
The window shutters seemed a little broken (didn’t affect our stay) everything else was lush.

The breakfast was fantastic and the staff were lovely. The location of the hotel was perfect for my needs and I could get to the location I needed go get to quickly. They had a small parking lot which was great to unload and pack up my luggage.
When I arrived, there was an issue with the keycards accessing the rooms. This was annoying to deal with as I had driven from Glasgow so was quite keen to get into the room and relax. Luckily I was able to call the number at the front desk and access the emergency card. Unfortunately there was a foreign family there that wasn’t sure what to do and I was able to give the card to them so they could access their room.

The staff were a delight, particularly Alessio at check in & Daisy at breakfast. Also the location was ideal. Great lounge area in basement with tea & coffee
The sofa bed in the family room was not made up even though our booking was for 3 people. Speedily sort out by Alessio.
Also the shower, while the pressure is great, positioning the shower head needs looking at as impossible to adjust.

Alessio at the front desk was exceptional. He was like having a dear friend at the front desk. Room was very comfortable, as was the bed. Easy location, right on several Bus lines. They also held my bags while I did a free Edinburgh walking tour as well as a Tour of Edinburgh Castle. Highly recommend.
The one thing I noticed is taking a shower the floor got wet outside the shower. I put a couple towels down because I don't like making a mess.

the only thing i like it was a croissant from breakfast.
where to start. I booked this one bcs I was arriving in Edinburgh at 7pm and they did check ins until 8pm. on the day before they called me saying they couldn't do in person check in so I need to do a self check in. it was overwhelming and definitely not a 4* hotel experience. the place is just worn out with no comfort or good service. they charge double than what is the real value for that place.
