Wonderful
Lovely stay for myself and toddler. Room was small(but perfect for us) had all essential necessities. Buses easily located outside into the centre and many good late opening food options and supermarkets nearby. Special thanks to receptionist Rihan, very friendly member of staff, and any other staff were all welcoming also. Would book again if back in Edinburgh.

Location superb, breakfast excellent. Staff very friendly and helpful.
Nothing really, however, I wanted a quick cuppa in my room and that machine looks way too complicated. A kettle, Nescafé sachets and little milks would be so much easier. Didn’t bother having a cuppa in the end.

Liked the Location,short bus journey to city centre. Liked the Breakfast, great variety. Allesio at Reception was outstanding. Incredibly friendly and helpful. He recommended some excellent places to eat and drink. Excellent value for money. Hotel does require a bit of modernization,which is taking place.

The staff were excellent, above and beyond, breakfast was good with plenty of choice.
I feel our room could do with an upgrade, the bathroom in particular needs some work done, the white stuff round the shower is disgusting, the bedroom is a bit tired, and some of the plugs/usbs slots didn’t work.

Staff was friendly and they helped most of the time with questions about the city. Breakfast was good, with some fruit and healthy options that you don't usually see in these hotels
I am not picky when it comes to hotels, as I've been travelling my whole life and stayed in hostel all around the world. When you book a hotel like this, you expect certain quality when it comes to services and your room. The second bed for the third person is a sofa bed, and it's simply impossible to sleep in those. I know this first hand because that is the one I own... and never use. It is a thin uncomfortable mat, not a mattress. The blinds were broken, almost falling from the ceiling; the shower was not properly working and the bathroom was full of water after using it. They are renovating the hotel (necessary at this point) but this meant they were working during the day, starting at 9am. Impossible to sleep, to take a nap or even to relax. We were getting readu for the day and they cut the energy from our room because of the renovation, which meant we couldn't use any of the plugs. We asked and this was fixed, but it's not what you expect from a hotel like this. If you are renovating a small hotel like this one, you better close it till you finish. The whole hotel was filled with furniture from other rooms, dust and people constantly working (builders, electricians...). The whole stay was very dissapointing.
