Location
The staff. Kept my phone charger when they said they had it after me leaving it in the room. Spoke with reception and they said they had it as it had been left in the room and it was in their lost property box.
I asked them if they would post it out to me with me paying the cost of postage. They said it was against their policy to send and that I had to either send a courier or go and pick it up.
So I Telephoned the hotel 48hrs prior to going to collect it and they said no problem see have it here and they would leave it on reception for me to pick up on Sunday.
Went to pick it up on the Sunday and the receptionist on duty said they had never had it in the first place which is a complete lie after being told it was there. I then asked why was I then told it was there, and she was very evasive about who was working and who else could have said that it was there, in fact she said it was only her and another colleague who work on reception. So I asked her if she could kindly ring her and she said no as she was off. I then said when is she back in and we told that she’s only part time, so I then asked ok then when is she back in and she said she off on holiday.
Absolute lie after lie.
Will never be back. Appalling lie.!

I am elderly with health problems. I was directed to walk up stairs to my room which turned out to be on top floor. Only one decaf tea bag was provided in room

Good sized bed, good kitchen facilities, very helpful Manager
Great location with lots to do nearby
No lift which wasn't great for a heavy case
View was either a construction site or lots of windows
Bathroom design made it a cold room
Both TVs were very old with no smart TV functions and due to size of rooms they are too small.
Sofa should be in front of TV in lounge or replaced with dining table
To be clear, we were offered a move to another apartment on our 2nd day by the very helpful Manager but we.had unpacked and decided to stay where we were and keep our curtains closed. He kindly gave us a bottle of champagne for my wife's birthday by way of an apology.

The location was incredible - so close to the castle and old town! I loved the apartments - the beds are so comfortable! The staff was so helpful and warm and welcoming!

The staff at The Rutland Hotel & Appartments were very friendly, polite and helpful.
Our apartment at The Rutland Appartments was large, spacious, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. We loved the wallpaper in the living room. The kitchen was well-equipped.
Our only dislike was the use of white LED lighting in some appartment’s areas.

Really lovely clean apartment and very cosy and comfortable to stay in - all staff encountered were friendly and accommodating
Nothing we didn't like but one tiny issue was shower was bit dribbly, probably just needs descaling

Located in an excellent location. Beautiful furnishing and spacious room with city views. The breakfast was very good
No toilet brush in the bathroom.Asked 3 times and never got one. Lift did not work for 4 days,luckily our room was on 2nd floor

The room we stayed in was super comfortable. We were in a beautiful junior suite located on the top floor. Even though the elevator was not working, the excellent staff assisted us througout our stay. The restaurant next door were breakfast is served at a discount, was beautiful, with great service and food. All in a all a super experience.
