We had a wonderful stay at the Kimpton Hotel in Edinburgh. Our room was spacious, beautifully designed, and full of character, making it perfect for two. The amenities were excellent, with easy access to Netflix and even a personalised welcome message on the TV. Robes and slippers were provided for extra comfort, and we also received two tokens for special Outlander-themed cocktails at the bar downstairs. The hotel offered to kindly stored our luggage after check-out—however we had already arranged storage. Nonetheless it was a thoughtful gesture. Throughout our stay, the staff were warm, personable, and genuinely welcoming.

The hotel is very nice and in a nice location. I did not spend a lot of time in it, but hope to do so the next time! I've heard the spa is very nice!

The most accommodating and lovely hotel staff that were able to give me great recommendations for exploring the city. I also loved the complimentary wine hour to mix with other hotel guests. Bed very comfortable and lovely spa facilities.
I found the restaurant to be a bit overpriced. Also didn’t like that to access the gym/spa you had to walk through the restaurant in your workout gear or alternatively take all your clothing with to change there.

This hotel is perfect, well located and the staff even greater. They managed to make our anniversary amazing! We also enjoyed the baba restaurant, the food was delicious! Thank you!

From arrival to departure the hotel staff were excellent, and the hotel pool was extremely appreciated after a hard day walking around the city, would definitely stay again when back in Edinburgh

The staff and location were wonderful. 15 minute walk to the castle! Very clean! The shower could be better especially if you take a shower with your significant other.
The rooms let a lot of noise in. I could hear loud noises in the middle of the night from people who were leaving pubs. Not the best. Had to play a loud white noise to block it out.

Kimpton did not disappoint with this hotel. The interior design brings you to a story of an old British book with every detail. My personal highlight is the fully equipped gym (actually there is a separate cardio zone as well). The free minibar, the free-flow bar social hour and daily amenities are what the 5-star standard really stands for. The location is walking distance to everywhere.
Same breakfast choice every day. Sparkling water is charged extra.
