We had an internal facing room and with the window open ( slightly) we had air-conditioning noise filter through at night . No Noise if closed... We prefer an open window to using Aircon at night so this was not ideal. We have visited a few times before and find it a pity that breakfast was moved from the Garden Room to the Baba Restaurant . Now feels commoditised and rushed ... ( Almost as if you want us in and out ) . We will come again ( and again).

As always, a lovely place to be. Traditional meets contemporary. We stayed in the old house this time and all the quirks of an old place were shining through. A lovely view over Charlotte Square too.

Room 115 must be closed to housekeeping or the gym. Noise what must have been a tumble drier or treadmill came on at 0500 and woke me.

Unfortunately the inclusion of parking and breakfast for 3 persons was not included when I checked in. I had to request it again and pay on departure. All was well, but an unecessary inconvenience. The Happy Hour was Fabulous.
