Ideal location for us
Very slow and unorganised at breakfast time, took ages for the porridge to come, when it did eventually arrive it was lukewarm, asked the waitress for some more but hotter, to be told ‘you’ll have to wait, we are very busy’ expensive 2 slices of toast at £16.00 because that’s all my husband had, would stay again but wouldn’t pay for breakfast

The room, the location and the breakfast were all fantastic. I was doing a few tours departing from the Edinburgh Bus Station and the location was perfect. It was a 10 minute walk from the Royal Mile. The staff was wonderful. So friendly, professional and helpful.
The only "downside" is the lack of a lift. I have difficulty with stairs, especially multiple flights but once I expressed this to the front desk they moved my room and ensured that my future reservations were flagged for lower floor. The staff was also wonderful about carrying my luggage for me.
