The hotel was in a great location and easy to walk or jump on the tram to all the main attractions in the city. The hotel was exceptionally clean and the staff were all great; helpful, friendly and knowledgeable.
My only slight issue was how warm the room was. It was as if the radiators were on (they werent) so had that stuffy feeling of warmth. Can foresee this being a bigger issue as the summer kicks in. It wouldnt stop me staying again but may have to ask for a fan!

Ideal location for visiting Edinburgh. Room was comfortable. Excellent breakfast and staff excellent and very helpful. Also you get a forty percent voucher off you car parking as like any major uk city parking is expensive so this helps

City centre location. Gorgeous town house building. Excellent view. Clean. Loved the staircase.
Uncomfortable beds. On the top floor, there was very little water pressure for the shower. Room was tiny.

Excellent, friendly staff. Perfect location and very comfortable bed. We received a free room upgrade and had a suite with a very large bathroom.

Excellent location near the centre of Edinburgh. Pleasant friendly hotel with attentive helpful staff. We were given an upgrade which was lovely

Location is fine, it is possible to walk to many of the main attractions in Edinburgh. The street per se is not interesting, but is is close to nice places. There are 2 malls close by, in which you find restaurants and other facilities. the hotel is typical UK. There is a Tesco Express near by. Hotel was quiet, you do not hear too much going on there.
Not very well sound isolated. You can hear the cars on the street all night long. There is no elevator, so be prepared for the stairs. My room was really small, just a single bed.

Great Hotel so near to theatre and shops .My only concern was there was no lift and we were to climb to the third floor ,however when I mentioned I wasn't good on my legs they changed our room to the first floor which was most appreciated.
The use of a lift which was my only concern ..
