The location was good, and the staff friendly and helpful. The room had a portable fan, which was needed as it was very hot. The lounges and balcony on the ground floor were very smart, and I loved the photographs on the walls. The breakfast was good.
It was expensive for a fairly ordinary twin basement room, with only one chair, 4 coat hangers, and limited shelf space in the bathroom. There was no decaffinated tea or coffee in the room.

Good shower
The room had no A/C and only a single Velux skylight that was controlled by a remote on the wall. However, this kept closing itself meaning that the room was stifling hot through the night, making it difficult to sleep and very uncomfortable

Clean, friendly staff and close to both the new and old town and the train station.
Mum and daughter booked a standard double room, and we were given a small cosy room felt like we were in the basement.

Like many european single rooms, my room was essentially a closet with a tiny loo. Single guests pay top dollar but are given almost enough room to turn around in the tiny rooms we get. The only place available for opening my suitcase was on the narrow bed. The shower was so narrow that I could not bend over to wash my feet. Hotels should be honest about the kind of accommodation they provide for single travelers.

The location is excellent + close to St James’s Quarter and ALL local facilities.
No Air Con + being on the road York Place is busy / noisy when you have to open the windows.

The place was very clean and comfortable. It was walking distance for many attractions, however somewhat hilly. The tram was about a quarter mile from the hotel.
The layout was a little confusing at first, but I was able to figure it out quickly. While the shower was nice, it was a tight squeeze to get in and out of (I’m 6, 165 pounds).

Required low floor and i was accommodated. Nice view. Good tea and coffee facilities.
Shower cubicle was too small for my size I couldn't get in and injured myself trying to do so.
