Spotlessly clean, one of the receptionists was lovely. One of the most comfortable beds I've slept in. Fantastic shower. Visited Edinburgh quite a few times, and this was one of the best placed hotels I've stayed in. Omni centre car park nearby was clean and safe (and 35% discount code on Travelodge website
Could possibly get a little warm in hot weather, especially with the window restrictors and no air con.

Clean and well-appointed room. Excellent location. Walking distance to most places in Edinburgh. I like the fact that they had multiple USB and USB-C ports for charging devices. What a plus.

Craig at the reception was great! Lovely looking reception.
The room wasn't great, looked like it needed a proper turnover and it also smelt damp, likely from the carpet near the bathroom. It still smells all through even after almost emptying a bottle of perfume in there and the window being open all day and night.

Slight air of minimalism - smallest shampoo and shower gel bottles I’ve ever seen combined with a small bath towel made me feel that economy trumped hospitality.

Enjoy a full view of Carton hill once you open the curtain - a big suprise to me.
Have to climb several flights of stairs to get to my room - can be tricky for somone who has limited exercise tolerance; TV was broken - not a big deal though since was outside enjoyng the precious sunshine most of my time.

The lounge was particularly lovely after a day of tramping up and down edinburgh's hills. The staff was very knowledgeable about local distilleries and we had fun tasting different gins and whisky. Everyone was helpful about where to eat and what to see, as well as how to get around. We had a wonderful time.

Had a very pleasant stay in this quiet and well located hotel, close enough to walk to all Edinburgh’s major attractions but not near noisy pubs and bars. All very clean and my room had everything I needed Being able to get a glass of wine and sit in the downstairs lounge was a bonus after a long day of sightseeing.
As with many of these small hotels, no lift, so a bit of a struggle up with stairs with my too-heavy suitcase.

Great location not too far from anything. Blackout curtains were great for the Scotland summer. Perfect temperature. Lovely staff.
Really thin walls and you can hear everything in the hallways.
