Lovely quiet spot. Easy to get around from there. Excellent customer service- they took wonderful care. My third time staying and I hope not my last.
Could use a mini fridge in room.

Very nice room. More spacious that I initially thought.
Although I was lucky to find a parking space and was graciously allowed to keep my car parked slightly longer after the check-out, there is only 3 parking spaces allocated for the hotel.

Super cute and everyone was very nice and helpful. Loved the irn bru in the room. Spot on when above a brilliant pub. Our room was the snug and it was very cozy and quiet.

Wonderful location. I truly appreciated how clean it was and the attention to details inside the room. The use of the topper on the bed is a huge plus.

Room was lovely clean and spacious. The bathroom was great & the shower powerful & was a nice size. Towels were plentiful & the bed linen clean & good quality. The breakfast was amazing and good value. We ate our evening meals in the canny man pub which is decorated with antique and vintage items making it a unique place with great ambiance. Both the service and the food was amazing.
There isn’t anything really that we didn’t like , if I was to have to find something it would be the lack of parking & the rationed sugar sachets both in the room & at breakfast.

Our room in The Lane Hotel was very comfortable - clean, warm and with a huge bed and two cosy armchairs. The decor was modern and lovely even though in an old building. Great bathroom - huge with two sinks, a bath and an extremely good separate shower. The hotel is attached to The Canny Man’s pub and breakfast there was included in our stay - a wonderfully quirky location with delightful staff and great food. The full Scottish Breakfast was huge and beautifully cooked.
The hotel is in Morningside so out of the centre but it’s on a main bus route and the buses are extremely frequent and reasonable. Morningside itself is delightful to wander around with lots of interesting shops.
