Our stay at The Lane was nothing short of exceptional! The room was beautiful and to such a high standard we were blown away at the detail! It was immaculate and with a incredible pub downstairs with the friendliest staff we cannot wait to visit again already, thankyou!!

I loved the bathroom, it was super clean, and the shower was easy to use and spacious, plus I loved the mirror with the light around it.
The bed was really fluffy while not making you sink too much into it, and I loved the tea/coffee station, with the extra tap water bottle already prepared to make yourself tea, or just a glass of water.
A very small comment about the lights: The room wasn't very big, and I do think that the lights on the board at the head of the bed were nice, but the farther one hard to reach as it would be very close to the wall. The easiest way I found was to just roll on the bed to the light...
Maybe the overhead lights were not working, or maybe I was just too stupid to make them work, but I do have to mention that the amount of light was enough to not bother me anyway.

The room was well decorated, clean, and with all the amenities one would expect, including cookies! And the pub next door is great!
We stayed in a room called The Snug, and it was so small, it was difficult to stash our three pieces of luggage.

Completely satisfied with our visit. The staff was friendly, and the room had everything we needed, from an iron and hairdryer to hot water and snacks. We were also lucky to find parking in the backyard, thanks for that.
The reed diffuser was maybe a bit too intense, but we moved it to the bathroom, and the issue was solved.

It was walking distance to restaurants and bars. I got upgraded to the suite and the staff were friendly. The room was comfy and spacious!

Location is great. Staff courteous and helpful. Bathroom very good indeed. Coffee and tea supplied of very good quality.
BUT bed, appallingly soft and more important extremely hard to one person to get into without climbing over and disturbing the other. Our room very cramped indeed. Nowhere, really to sit, so I sat out on the landing to use my laptop

The interior decorating is amazing
The surrounding is cool, not an area you will visit if you didn’t live here.
Just pay attention no elevators, but it’s only one flight of stairs ?

Clean, comfortable,quiet and easy access to downtown on #16bus (20 minutes). Canny Man pub & restaurant were excellent and worth visiting.
Internet coverage in our room (Champagne Suite) was spotty with weak reception and frequently dropping signal.

Good location with easy bus routes to all the sights. Our room was well equipped and comfortable. Great access to The Canny Man’s bar where we enjoyed great food and friendly service.
We stayed in a room called The Snug and it was small. Tight squeeze to get into bed on the one side! The bed had a comfy mattress but the duvet was too heavy and hot, would be great in winter.

the location - bit out of town but our window was open to CannyMans pub and the noise until late at night was annoying
